High school students in the northeastern Chinese city of Zaozhuang have sparked intense online debate with a performance re-enacting the assassination of former Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe. The play staged on October 10, 2023, featured a banner criticising Japan’s decision to release treated wastewater from its crippled Fukushima power plant.

it's true, but if you ask why it's because Japan still not formerly apologize of what they did to mostly alot of countries bcs of the "bushido" term they have, shinzo abe even mocked the chinese with *Unit 731* mini plane, basicly Japan is still in a state where they don't think it is a bad behaviour of what they did, until they get nuked into beginning to be pacifist atleast for their people but for the blue blood? they still think it's a winning game to them.

Shinzo Abe denied the very existence of Nanking Massacre: "Abe argued several aspects of this in different places-specifically that much of it was a fabrication, that much of it was an effort by China to smear Japan, that, in fact, nowhere near the numbers of people as claimed had been massacred, and that in many cases it was the Chinese soldiers targeting the Japanese. And so this is really that kind of Holocaust denialism." ----------By Isaac Chotiner July 9, 2022 - The Newyorker Article "How Shinzo Abe Sought to Rewrite Japanese History" So the question again: What are you really expecting from the Chinese?

@why-lj5tc
@why-lj5tc 7 месяцев назад
Even Japanese themselves are pretty divided over Abe. You have the people who believe he put Japan back on the map and stalled its economic downturn. But also most political Japanese turned against Abe when they found out about the Reunification Church and their ties to Japanese politicians like Abe. Many Japanese also blame Abe for the deteriorating economic conditions and increasing loneliness and misery amongst Japanese especially the young people. And then there's the 50-55% of Japanese adults who don't show up to vote so they don't care about politics at all lol. Sometimes they view him as just an unfortunate man who was murdered, while sometimes these Japanese try to ignore anything related to politics (except maybe local town and city politics which is usually relatively chill) altogether

As an anti-Abe policy Japanese, I checked the photo to confirm if it's not a fake, I kind of laughed at it. I don't think that's his intention to nudge any poeple with it, because of his pro-Chinese policy throughout his regime. That wouldn't gain anything to Japan or him.

They hate him. Can't blame them. Former Prime Minister denounced the Nanking Massacre ever happened during WW2. The atrocities committed by the Japanese are unforgivable. The hate will continue. Just like the Israelis and the Palestinians. Yeah, you're kinda right though. We live in a modern civilized world where it would be better to move on and live in peace but it's not easy to do for some.

Yeah. But in my view, its both a blessing and a curse. If they make whatever, they will inevitably boil them no matter what context or intention or what they claimed its not about the Japanese people in general. And both China and Japan, historically, they've been at each other's throats, and they're not completely forgiven (do not count any affirmations of peace settlements, because they're just... peace settlements, not some apology)

“Children shouldn’t be used as political tools”…Does anyone in the comment section knows what did Shinzo Abe done to China when he was the prime minster? Or even what happened in the 20th century that loads of Japanese soldiers killed thousands if not millions of Chinese civilians by invading into many parts of China. Those savage attacks are being conducted by the ancestors / kin of Shinzo Abe. This is why *this* thing happen. This really isn’t a surprise at all of why they are so angry. I’m sad that people nowadays forget any history or any evidence-tracing knowledge/ techniques at all. 😢

@@enryhen6859 you are totally correct that children should not be used as political tools! BUT how do you know why those kids did that?! were you there to witness it was the chinese gov told the kids to do that OR you are just assuming like all these other people with low self awareness?! as i have posted in another comment, where i ask, are there still ned inside china? it is a known fact around the world that the ulterior motive of the ned is to destabilize any country that does not listen to the usa! it is written on usa document! but you are correct that it was his ancestor not him. lets say that this happened in the usa or another western country, would you have jumped to conclusion and assumed, children shouldnt be used as political tools or you would say something else? this is one of the main issue i found online! people always jump to conclusion it was the chinese gov behind the horrible thing, whenever something bad happens inside china! do you know why? i found out cause this is what the western medias always says on a daily basis, how bad communism is and everything china does is bad, so it is brainwashing people who have low self awareness and self esteem and they will always jump to conclusion that communism is bad and china is bad!!! so which one are you?
