I naturally got the accent down because of the pitch accent in Chinese so I have my mother tongue to thank for that. I am currently reading a light novel translated into Chinese. The original story is called The seishun buta yarou series but just type that in along with Chinese and light novel any you might find it. I've been reading to improve my Chinese reading ability since it still sucks. At least I know how to speak Chinese though.
