China can easily pull a Gaza, cut off water, electricity, cell service and internet. Yes it is that close. Boats have to pass through Chinese water to the islands. This morning Chinese coast guards are now inspecting boats going to the islands.

If Taiwan didn't act decisively against that Chinese fishing vote China will send more and more until they become so many that Taiwan wouldn't be able to drive them away. If that happens, Taiwan will be in greater danger of getting caught off guard when China decides to put its plan to invade Taiwan into motion.

China will just make a lot of noise and try to squeeze as much advantage as it can from the situation. Now, if Xi Jin Ping really does order th invasion of Taiwan, it would be a miscalculation like that made by Putin when the latter ordered the invasion of Ukraine. But the results will be far worse to China than what Russia is experiencing.

Taiwan is promoting Chinese tourist to the island. There is nothing to spy on. I don't know what China thinks it can get away with. Clearly, the boat avoided inspection which again led to them endangering themselves by rough maneuvers. I see two engines on this "fishing boat". If one is just 75 Hp it makes 150 Hp for a fishing boat. I wonder what and how they fish?
As same strategy used by Chinese in any waters that not belong to them, thier fishermen then followed by swarm fishermen and claim as China territory, if any country has given action for these Chinese fishermen they will claim that you are harsh to their fishermen but if you tolerate them they claim the place and another dash line will be created as thier territory
Question is what are they doing on a speed boat in Taiwan water. Why they don’t want the boat to be inspected? Going in a danger zone has consequences and this is one of them. For not cooperating to the Law they rather loose their lives.
KMT started in civil war in China. It was dictatorial from the start resulting in one party in either side of the Taiwan strait. I don’t think there was freedom and democracy since the beginning with KMT which caused the whole mess.

The PRC read the UN resolution 2758 in writing, word by word. The resolution never mentioned that Taiwan was part of China. But the PRC accepted and signed it, knowing Taiwan was never part of China. If the PRC didn't accept it, the US would have never let China join the UN.
