Walking and looking around learning a language is more vivid and lively than sitting still in a classroom.

What an interesting video, I enjoy seeing what life is like for you! I did not realize you live in Shenzhen. I just finished teaching a voice student who lives there by computer and is now going to college in the US. So many differences in life in our two countries. So many scooters! When I lived in NYC I enjoyed having some street food from time to time. It's more expensive now than before, but still very good.

If some of the buildings were preserved, couldn't you also say 'shang lai' kept up, rather than 'xia lai.?'

I like the pinyin starting with upper-case for proper names, such as : 麦当劳 Mài dāng láo ("McDonald's") I think this is a big help for learners, because "麦 mài" otherwise means "wheat", and this can be very confusing for learners. … On the other hand, I don't like pinyin showing tone changes, such as : 地方 dì fang ("place") The assigned tone for 方 is "fāng", and this is what we need to learn. I think the issue of tone changes should be kept separate from other topics. … Anyways, this is just my opinion. 谢谢老师。
