This is the real music , I listen to rock and hiphop, some rap, those give u some emotion, these one give you relaxation and u can close your eyes and forget all the trouble u had, I am imagining the ancient king would have these play in his chamber to enjoy , nice wine, soft woman, and this music
+Tia Marie Well it's all down to interpretation, I don't like to think of these songs as romantic to be honest because a large component of human romance is superficial - no, this is on a different plane to that. The nature one I can attest to slightly more, but it's still a bit pretentious. To me it represents neither deep philosophy nor superficial romance, but simple and neutral information. There's probably someone who could aritculate that better than I can, but certainly those ancient Chinese knew wagwan. +Alex Ly - Rock and Hip hop can give strong emotion but not all, listen to "A tribe called quest - mind power" and tell me what you think.
***** You didn't have to mention the autism, I wouldn't have guessed. On romance not being superficial, maybe I didn't use the right words but I suppose a more accurate way to describe it would be to say that because of how human attraction works, and because of the impermanence of life, romance by implication can only be so deep. Would you disagree with that?
***** In order to ascertain whether romance is more than just physical we have to determine whether or not a similar relationship would exist without the influence of sexual attraction. Then we would need to determine if our personality is inherent to us or if it's learned: if we are a product of our environment, then our personality would be 100% subjective, thus invalidating a timeless or metaphysical bond. As for the religion thing, the only reason I don't follow it is because there are far too many questions and in my opinion requires far too much blind faith. I recognise the possibility of God, but think that we could not possibly know one way or the other regardless of knowledge. Believe me if someone gave me convincing enough argument of God's existence in the incarnation of the religion in which it is written, then I would follow it absolutely. Unfortunately, you could never make an argument like that because the very idea of God is a paradox.
This music is relaxing, but it makes me think of the an honorable warrior. With strong values, who cared so much that its caused him alot of pain in his life. Now he's paying his respects to his fallen loved ones and/or ancestors. and must begin the hardest journey of his life, the journey within.
I believe so , every mind have their own way to interpret the music, what I like is music represent, without lyrics, where it can take u go beyond without words, is the true music
I love all oriental music led by Chinese music. It is full of mystique for me it is so relaxing . I think I may have been Chinese in a former life the culture is so profound Dino Carlucci
This is such tranquil meditating and contemplating music. I feel that I should be feng shui'ing my house and and be caring for bonsai's in my zen garden when I listen to this.
Such a beautiful and peaceful song. Makes me feel relaxed, at ease, calm, and happy as an angry dragon whose heart has finally been soothed by a kind person's sweet words and touch. : )
This is very calm and soothing music. Why cant every one in this world just live in piece and i belief we have allot to learn and grow by with other cultures.I am so tired of hearing about the negatives and just think we should be grateful to atleast breath from day to day.
Many millions of men in the universe love ladies and art from East Asia. From Japan to the very south that I think is Malasia. Every lady and country included. My heart is split in many pieces and each one loves one culture of east asia. But the 2 pieces of my heart that look a little bit bigger, one is love-sick with Deng Li Jun and the other one with Hmong art and ladies everywhere in this planet :) Better than Heaven !!! :)
wow soo beautiful. lay down with surround sound speakers in a dark room, smoke a little, and just relax. after a stressful day this brings soo much peace. =] thank you for posting.
@DrAgonBull2all Very beautiful music indeed. We must not be lost in this materialistic world and should treasure what our ancestors left us. Listening to this music make your life complete and it a good start for the day. Thanks.
This theatre is at Dali, Yunnan province. My group was there. Very classical music. Not too far from the major mountain, lovely city and ancient music, trouts jump in the creek passing the street.
The city is perhaps the cleanest city in Asia; the creeks flow directly from the mountains nearby with trees along their path. This small theatre is located not too far from the town center. The musicians played their finest tones with classic flavors, echoing the mysteries of the famous Shangri la, about 80 miles away, whose story became world renown by James Hilton's novel, The Lost Horizon, in 1937.
Actually, many musicians on the state looed Caucasians. I was told that Yunnan, the home province of James Hilton's "The Lost Horizon" has hosted many European visitors who decided to stay for the seclusiveness and clean air generations ago.
I would like to visit it again next year. There are many small coffee shops by the stream and one can really have a good time. The city is just very clean!
i remember my great-great-great-great Chinese aunt who wrote stories about how this song would only be performed during thunderstorms. today, the process is modernized to give more people access to this beautiful traditional music by adding thunderstorm effects.

It's kind of magical and beautiful in its own ways! It has art in so many forms, even in fighting, music, architecture, the list is endless. But I suppose every culture has its beauty! :)
@MyLoveIs4U0 Kung Fu. :) I'm a practitioner of a Kung Fu style called Wing chun. Many people tend to forget that Kung Fu means no more than "chinese martial arts".
