"Woii" is a Caribbean/Jamaican term and has been used for decades now. Like most Jamaican slang, it's been incorporated into UK slang too. It's code for Fire. Jamaicans often say woii when they get burned or something is hot.

Stormzy messed himself up just by saying "Kaboom". "Kaboom, that ad-lib belongs to Konan. You know this ting, no guts, no glory... Snake, you know you was banging my story" > Konan infamous for 'snitching' on the stand after hiding in his mums room as his step dad was killed(no guts no glory), then him & Krept made the my story tune talking on the matter... Which Stormzy would definitely have played considering him and Konan are both from Croydon, so he can be seen as hypocritical all things considering... Not sure Chip would have joined all that up if Stormzy didn't say kaboom lol, Stormzy assisting his own downfall 😅 but I thought this was disrespectful to Konan, even though he said he "likes them man" at the end.

Chip's been swinging on the mic against all-comers since 2006 times, he came through in a certain batch of young mcs when grime had morphed into super technical flows and headspin rhyme schemes , a lot of those mcs should be big stars today, but they were in the wrong era before youtube etc. chip is the only one of that prodigious bunch who is still sitting at the top of the tree. Few facts: 1) Chip has proven to me in recent years he is in a league of his own. (I am not a Chip fan as he is from a younger generation but his versatility and bars have vastly improved) 2) Stormzy must respond. I backed him during the Wiley beef and I am a Wiley fan. I may be pushing this a little and seeing something that’s not there, but, when Chip starts with the Humble pie part, could be at all the people who featured in Ghetts - Skengman video, where he says “deep down, all of the guys on your side, deep down wanna see the clash on the sly” he uses a flow that’s just like D Double E. Think my favourite thing about this diss is the way he mixes different flow in to add to it. So the D Double flow with the "humble guy" lines, and the Ghetts flow after "you didn't mind when it was Wiley". Even some Ghetts adlibs sampled in the background, nice touch. The interesting bit is the 'hop out the whip' lines. Totally sounds like Duchavellii from 'Only If You Knew' - especially with the sound that drops at the end of the second line. What's he saying with that?? Linking him with the Dutchavelli scandal, I know you like young girls too??? I dunno..

Chip is genuinely one of the greats. Been in the game for over 15 years with loads of bangers. Stormzy has only 2 albums which are both trash. Just self hyped himself and constantly calls himself the king which is nonsense. Chip top 5 all time uk. Stormzy no way near top 10. Best uk diss track ever.
