Oh my lord too cute!!!!!!! lol I didn’t know they peel that peanuts themselves. I feed squirrels but I always take the peanuts outta the shell for them. I do it in a public park so wouldn’t wanna make a mess anyways but I really didn’t know they would crack the peanuts themselves lol, this little fella looks just like a squirrel btw. It's better to peel them though, because the shells can have some sort of invisible toxic layer on them, that can make them sick. Mold or fungus or something
I know you mean well but you aren't supposed to feed Squirrels peanuts you are doing them harm peanuts are bad for their digestive system if you would like to feed squirrels feed them almonds or hazlenuts
For those who are confused. That this is a Chipmuck and not a Squirrel. Squirrels are bigger than Chipmucks. Squirrels had a upward curly fluffy tail while Chipmucks are flat. Squirrels are comes in grayish to reddish brown while Chipmucks is reddish brown. one of the distinctive features of Chipmucks are the stripes in there back.
