Well...I mean he's a musician. Musicians remember notes. That's how they play lol...He has the ears for them. It's not really like sports where as you age older you lose efficiency and ability.
This is my favorite part of the song because it conveys hope. The accelerating tempo and the sudden force put a picture in my mind of a person who struggles to make an effort to stand up again, take a step and move forward with his or her life after so much suffering.
Seeing Benny still killing this piano part makes my soul happy yet sad at the same time, cuz he won’t be around forever, you can tell he’s moving slower on the notes, but it’s still so beautiful after all these years 🥺❤️

After playing for over 5 decades its like talking it never goes away. Musical instruments are so badass wish they were a requirment in school. Everyone knew how to jam that would be the coolest thing ever.
@@jordan6988 There was one time when I was in an orchestra class at school, it had a very small amount of students, like me and four or five other people. It was a normal school. Since I like pianos, the teacher put me to practice two specific songs on the upright piano that he had in the classroom. They were Swan Lake by Tchaikovsky and I think Fantasie-Impromptu by Chopin and instead of actually practicing those two songs, I literally kept watching videos on my phone throughout the entire duration of the class. That is something that up to this day, I have so much regret about.

Fun fact, either him and bjorn (guitarist) both couldn’t read a single note. They remembered it and brought it to the other band members (who played like backup music for stronger sound) and by playing the songs they just had to figure out which notes it were so they would be able to play it too. So technically he just remembered the piece of music and not the notes :)
