Its not just Chiraq. I live in Baltimore City. It was a beautiful city when I grew up. But the fuckery is all over now. They ripped down some high rise projects a few years back and spread more fuckery thru the city that's already fucked up. My mom bought her home in the 80's at around 38k. One of her neighbors sold hers a few years later for 75k. Last year my mom checked the market to see what her home would go for today it was 43k. The property value actually dropped over the past 2decades to lower than it was at her purchase date. Because of the drugs,violence and this section 8 b.s. Now don't get mexwrong not everyone on sec.8 are bad. But the ppl that they put in her area over and over again just destroyed the area. The governor lived 3 blocks over when he was mayor. They tried putting sec.8 houses on his street and guess what...FUCK NO IT AINT HAPPEN.But it was OK for Martin O'Malley to put those sec.8 homes on my moms street. And now Johns Hopkins Hospital is doing the whole move blacks out re do the neighborhood and bring in wealthy families to lower eastside. Blocks of ppls family history gone for parking lots and High End apartments. So more of the poverty stricken ppl are being pushed into areas like my moms. Areas that used to be great almost suburban areas.And guess what they bringing even more FUCKERY wit them. Now my mom was a nurse for over 35 yes before she retired. She thought she was moving on up when she bought her house. And for a few years she did. But now it seems she actually moved on over.Or better yet moved on down. They call my city Charm City. The savages call it Harm City or BODYMORE MURDERLAND INSTEAD OF MARYLAND. The other city motto used to be Baltimore the city that reads,now it's the city that bleeds. I'm no saint and I played my part in the fuckery until I grew up and realized I was part of the problem. So I quickly fixed my life,stopped waisting my education and became a man my family and community could be proud of. I have 3 sons in college and one getting recruited to play D1 football. I'm so glad my sons didn't take my original path. And my baby girl is in a honors highschool doing well with a 3.0 GPA. My wife and I stress the importance of education and getting away from the fuckery. I know I got off topic but my point is this. WE AS A RACE ARE THE ONES RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT IS HAPPENING IN OUR COMMUNITUES.ONLT BLACK PPL LIVE THIS WAT.AND UF OUR PPL DONT GET IT TOGETHER WE WILL BE EXTINCT AS A RACE IN 150YRS. This fuckery across the country must stop. Please ppl take it from me. I've been in both sides of the fence and the view is better on this side. The side of living a normal productive life. Now its not perfect. I have to still step lightly because of the city I live in. But I'm telling u all 1st chance I get I'm out. Moving to a area that's at least some what safer. I mean I know these problems are wide spread but contrary to popular beliefs the fuckery don't exist everywhere. Well at least this level of fuckery. Yup its levels to the fuckery and right now I live in one of the tuffet levels. Imma move my family to a lower ,safer level if fuckery. One where I hope not to feel like I need a weapon to go to the store.

I agree with a good bit of what was said here. But there are some things you're not considering. Sometimes it isn't as safe as you would think just getting to and from school much less doing well while you're there. With that, you end up with people starting or joining little crews. In this case, they join BIG crews. And if you watch your boy stay home from school and make $1000 in a day or two, NOT going back to school makes more sense than fighting to go just to stay broke.

I don't agree with everything Dj Akademiks says, but this one he was spot on. People got the wrong idea that these guys are cool or something. When in reality if the world was full of these guys then NOTHING would get done, no bridges being built ect.

Can someone help me because I'm not from Chicago but how is the southern part of Chicago separated from the rest of Chicago I've heard people say that it's segregated or separated from the rest of Chicago, rich people don't care about those people living there?
It isnt physically seperated. It is just that Southside is mostly black. West Side is mostly latin, North Side is mostly white. People be lookin at you funny if you are a black guy in the north or some shit like that. They say america is not a melting pot it is a tossed salad. Chicago is a Neapolitan ice cream sandwich. There are people who have lived in the South side their entire lives and have never once been downtown or seen any Chicago landmarks.
