Ma’am, I just read Adam Makos’ book, and I have to say that your father was a remarkable man. His story is so much more than even this wonderful band could put into a song, and profoundly impacted me, as did the stories of the other truly exceptional men that he met during his service.

Hello. Noticed your surname. So Franz was your grandfather! It's nice how Sabaton tells war history without taking sides. I can't even begin to try and understand how it feels/felt when you learned Sabaton had done song that had Franz as main character with Charlie.

the moment when Stigler gave his salute and banked away gives me chills and bring a tear to my eyes, knowing that it was the last time they saw eachother for nearly 50 years

I can relate to this video…I am a former Army attack helicopter pilot with combat experience. There were times when I could have fired on so-called “combatants” but didn’t…I would have been justified but, it wouldn’t have been right. Thanks for the reaction!

The story goes that when he was training Stigler had an instructor who told him that you never shoot a man in a parachute, and that if he ever heard about him doing so he would shoot him himself. Stiegler would say that he consider the Pub to be so heavily damaged as to effectively just be a parachute. Hence why he refused to shoot it down, even though as they say shooting it down would of gotten him the Knight's cross, the highest award for a german fighter pilot.

Take a pick... 20 years of songs and you can count on 1 hand how many bad songs there are. Would love to see you react to older sabaton songs. No one reacts to them. Only the new, wich is good, but thats not where they started

One idea... Do stan ridgeways - camouflage. Then after sabaton - camouflage Bothcversions are great. And NOT a historic accurate hero song... but about a ghost 🙈

You mentioned the S logo. Since a sabaton is part of a suit of armor, the front of the S is life a joint of a suit of plate armor. (A sabaton is the boot of the armor.

Trivial knowlege: The "Y" in "Ye olde Pub" is not really a "Y". It is spelled like "th". The "Y"-letter, in those cases, ist just a replacement for the old "thorn"-rune, which has been replaced during christianisation and the latin alphabeth with a "Y" due to a lack of a substitutes. So, it has to be read like "th".

Could you react to HammerFall - Hammer of Dawn or Too Old to Die Young. They are also a Swedish band, Perhaps even bigger than Sabaton. But you will probably love the singers voice!They sold out their 2 first albums in less than 2 weeks, They were fighting against Spice Girls, Madonna etc.. in the 90s
