I have used my chirp wheels every day for two weeks. Seriously I thought I would never be able to get that “lean back in a high school desk” back pop. Now imagine that x10. My back feels like I’m 15 again. Good stuff.
Thank you for this comment!!!! I have been searching for the same kind of “lean back in a high school” back pop!! Just because of this comment, I just purchased a set!
I received the medium Chirp Wheel for Christmas; I’ve been meaning to use it but kept forgetting to go online and find a how to video. I watched a couple of instructional videos but got distracted. Long story short, your video was suggested by Google’s I’m tracking you algorithm and I decided to watch it. Thank you for your wonderful review and tips on how to use it. You’re relaxed attitude and calming voice allowed me to actually focus and listen to you, so thank you.
@@RunningWithDusty I agree with Marco. Your video is way better than any other one I’ve seen. My biggest problem is my neck. Constant pain even after my chiropractor visits. Does the Chirp do anything to help eleviate the neck?
Agreed - really appreciated his vibe in this video! I have been enjoying my wheel so far but this gave me some new ideas for how to use it (sometimes finding 3 minutes a little long for it tbh)
@@777sicilia see a physical therapist or something. They will help strengthen muscles and show you stretches that will fix the problem. Cracking is temporary relief. I’m too Lazy to but that’s my advice .
I just got a set of 4 - there's an itty-bitty one now, it's tough to use as a roller because it likes to eat up my shirt, but it delivers such focused pressure that I just want to lay on it for a minute or so, scoot it up my spine, and work up to the nape of my neck. Also, if you have longer hair, you want to tie it up REAL good and high. These little buggers are hungry. I learned that painful lesson immediately. I wasn't sure if I was using the bigger ones ideally, I read their little blurb and got to it. I wanted to check my technique and this is the first review that came up, and I use them exactly the same way. My job requires a lot of leaning over my work bench and lifting, and an old back injury from retail doesn't help anything. Every time I use them my body starts buzzing from the tension that's targeted. Worth every single penny. The little "posture corrector" thing they included was not so great. It's literally a backpack without the pack. It doesn't even fit me because it's too small at its largest option, the straps cut off the circulation right at my armpits lol I'll try reaching out to them. That will be interesting. UPDATE: Talking with Chayce was a treat. I even managed to catch him again when I wanted to clarify some of the intensity of the return policy ("Products & packaging must be returned in like new or used condition" & "shipping fees will not be refunded") I can return just the item I won't use for a partial refund, the only packaging it had was a zip-top bag with a sticker on it. Now I just have to find the damn thing.
I got all 3 recently and use all of them everyday. I start with the largest and then down the line. It relieved my neck pain almost immediately. I can’t say enough good things about them. Amazing...
WARNING: 6" version has a known design flaw and can crack across the entire length. Chirp acknowledges the issue but says that wheels breaking underneath people during use is what the 10-year warranty is for -- I've had two break, and asked for a refund instead of a third. It took months to get the OG replacement. I sincerely hope they can make a 6" wheel that can support a 210lbs male one day. **Please note, they had a flat v1 version prior to this one. It was made of a much stronger material and I still happily have and use those -- especially now that there isn't a safe 6" option.
Ordered all three. Been waiting 2 months. Coming in 6 days. I need it bad. I use to use a traction table once a month at my chiropractor. With everything shut down I think this will fit the bill. Even better I think with all three wheels and I can use it every day. So excited. Just looking at it work, I can tell my spine will love it. I’ll follow this up with an update if I can find this post again.
Cane in about two weeks ago. About a week earlier than they said. Best thing I ever got for my back. I started off with the largest wheel. I use it in the morning and just before bed. After about a week I really started noticing a difference in my spine. Amazing!
If you can't afford the $100, just stuff two tennis balls into a sock, tie a knot that keeps them in there tight, then roll on them one ball on each side of your spine. Voila! I've been doing it for years and it works like a charm.
@@jamessadik9478 I actually made my own with a small PVC pipe, cut to my liking and covered with hospital stretch tape, works way better than my friends 4inch chirp wheel and spend less than $12.00
I feel the chirp wheel is better than a foam roller. I have all three sizes but like the 6" the best. With the 6" I can do anything I would do with a foam roller . It allows more pressure.
Thanks James! I don't think I have any other tips. I have been using it regularly for a couple of months now and all it takes is a few minutes a day on it to keep me feeling loose.
Hey did it hurt your lower back?? I have experienced for the first time in using chirp wheel and probably it definitely hurt my lower back because the emphasis of that wheel towards my bone...
I believe so. Being on the Chirp is like doing a bridge movement which is good for psoas. Maybe someone who knows better than I can comment on this post for you. Help someone!?
which size is good for the neck and shoulder joints pain, I don't have lower back pain, mostly pain areas are middle of shoulder plates and neck head joint. So which size would be good for me. Does the crack sound come for the neck one also?
I have only used the medium sized one so I can only speak to that. It works well for me but I would imagine the small one may be better because it's more intense/deep. Maybe someone who has all of them can comment below?
As soon as I laid on mine this afternoon I popped in places I’d been trying to pop for years. Finally, some relief! Virtual teaching has wrecked my upper back the past year, and this works miracles.
@@suaveamante620 wow that's great to hear! What size did you get? I finally got myself the small size and I find it works the best. My wife can finally get her back to crack now too
@@TheMancYank I would probably just go for the small one. I don't have all 3, just the small and medium sized wheels and I don't think I would use the large one at all. Go for the small one!
The concept of this product is great but the product is almost as bad as the customer service. I have three (THREE) 6" wheels that are all broken. Two of them are replacements that broke the exact same way. I had to wait for the first replacement almost a month because "they are waiting for the manufacturer to ship the new ones. However, both the first and second replacement that I received where stamped with the same number (.i.e. were from the same run as the first one). Now, I've been waiting since May 4th for the third replacement of the 6" wheel. I was told on May 8th that "Currently individual wheels are arriving later that the 3 wheel packs. June 8-11th is our planned date to whip out individual wheels and replacements." Well since June 11th I've sent three unanswered emails. Did you catch the fact that they still have wheels to sell to new buyers but their "guarantee" takes a pretty substantial back seat... In the mean time, I've had to resort to using the 10" wheel since I do not have a 6" that is not broken. Well, as it turns out, the center line on the 10" wheel that I have is off. Didn't know that because I didn't use it because I used the 6" wheel. Anyway, Because the center line of the 10" wheel is off / inconsistent, it can sometimes just fall over while I or my wife have our body weight on it. FYI, that hurts. If it's not falling over, it tracks to one side or the other (doesn't stay centered on your spine) which can also be painful. I'll love to share that with them as well as get an update on my third 6" replacement wheel but I guess they are two busy shipping out new purchases to respond to emails. I'd post pictures of my three broken wheels here but I don't think that it will let me but I'll just copy this over to twitter, instagram and facebook and put the pictures there. #chirp #chirpwheel #chirpwheel+ #chirpwheelsucks #customerservice
I’m 6’2 275… yes over weight… i’m generally athletic but these things hurt. I wish it was wider so it was easier to balance on. In my case it requires a lot of stomach muscles to use… I’ll keep working on it but I’m skeptical
Hi Joshua, sorry for the late reply. They are pants from Janji. I don't believe they make the same model any longer (but may have something similar?). They are super comfy!
Dusty Spiller Triathlon I got the set of all three. During the stay at home I have been losing weight, about 25 pounds, and getting my body straightened out. Feeling better and more energetic and the wheels are now a part of a daily routine
Dusty Spiller Triathlon like I said I just received it, they are on back orders. But the little I’ve used it it is more intense. My quads are quite stiff so one of the things I am doing is I sit on my knees and I put the wheels behind me and I lean back little by little to stretch out the muscles. I’m working with all three wheels at this time, largest to smallest. I am looking at all kind of RU-vid videos and things to do with the wheel but it also comes naturally as you work with it to the neck stretches. So it’s just not my back that I’m using it for it’s also all my other muscles. But it was definitely worth the money that I spent for it. I really really like them.
Great vid! Might try that in the future. Check my patented interchangeable foam roller side wheel! It offers new height control for foam rollers plus you can grab hand grips on the wheels for extra control on stretches. It’s an invention that shoulda been around decades ago. Keep your foam roller clean on any surface outdoors / adds non slip tread and better stability. So many advantages. It even makes tread roll slower and extends length of back stretch by double start to finish based on physics of larger wheel on smaller diameter roller. Prevents shirt from getting caught under. Plus offers full body training and band mounts. I’d be down to send you 1 to review. Been tryin to license 4 yrs and every brand refuses it so I started making kits to sell online. The wheels are really good quality. Super durable. Thanks
I’ve been using an ab roller. It has two wheels and I tied a sock between them so I’ve got a wheel on each side of my spine. It is PAINFUL but put on a sweatshirt to protect my skin and do it on a soft surface
@@jordansaintemarie I also use those desks from school to crack my back stretching helps alot massaging your back as well loosens up those knots & joints for subluxation you can pop it yourself back jnto place theres also those camping chairs you can use for the corners of your back near the back between the shoulder blades using the back 2 posts on the chair too push between your shoulder blades that meaty part between the spine & the shoulders 😀👍
