Chirping Smoke Alarm Fix You Didn't Know! 

“Where at around 2 in the morning you start to hear it beep” I LITERALLY JUST WOKE UP AT 2 IN THE MORNING TO GET WATER AND I HEARD MY SMOKE ALARM BEEP

Do they only last a year? I have to change the battery every year.

Can I press the button without taking the battery out and when the smoke alarm is still on the wall ?

If it's hardwired - dontvyou need to turn breaker off-unplug from power then remove battery- ig still connected to wire it still chirps

I replaced new batteries but after new green light is steady should be blink or steady ?

I've disconnected the units and tossed them. Now there's chirping coming from the base!! I shut the power off for a few minutes, and it went quiet....for 20 min. Ready for a meltdown!!

How did you get that battery in your hand? Mine is stuck to my ceiling & I cannot figure out how to get it down from there. It's been chirping for 2 days.

Some alarms will chirp 2 times every 30 seconds after 10 years, so it's time to replace the whole unit.

I pressed the button multiple times and it Never Stopped so now the fire department showed up and they couldn't figure it out either so I punch it against my door and then they gave me permission to hammer it if it goes off again 😆🙏 it was going off since 5am for No damn reason

Nope. Not that easy at all.

I just took mine down and put it in the car. I finally got my pup calmed down, found this video and now she is panting and hiding under the bed again. You could have bleeped out the chirping. I had to stop it after the first chirp so it is not going to help me.

In reality we all remove the fire alarm because of the chirp, better off without a chirp noise

yea I was 10 and a half just got into bed my brother came from the bathroom we shared rooms to he slept a little away from me anyway 15 or smt mins later I heard an alarm it was like 1AM in the morning at first I thought it was in my head so I turned away my brother was older then me so he started screaming because he said in the morning after that he had a nightmare before the alarm and thought I was ded since that day me and my brother never went in that room again nor did we sleep without our mom☠️☠️☠️
