How thick is the leather? I have a pair of Tecovas and they are paper thin.

The leather is on the thicker side. In my opinion the leather is some of the nicest leather used in boots.

I have the same size in all three (size 12) I would say that the Chisos is about 1/4 size smaller than Tecovas and Ariat
