The guy who plays Pots is so talented!! You can definitely tell he is enjoying himself. God has given him such a gift! He has the voice and the talent!! I pray he continues to use that!! Loved it!
The woman who plays Truly has an amazing voice 😮 Oh my gosh!! Great. My childhood nightmares return 😖 I hate the Child Catcher. Meaning that man is a great actor.
I have so enjoyed watching this production. I am musical director of a children's theatre of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang this summer and watching this production was so helpful. Thank you. Where is your HS? I simply want to thank you and congratulate your adult leaders.
Oh man, those British accents though. The Baroness, Truly, Jeremy and Jemima (and Caracticus too), and of course my favorite, the Child Catcher (I'll call him Samba Catcher because of his dance moves.), are all well done here. Mrs. Coggins and the spies were lovable as well, despite all the mess ups with English phrases lol.
Okay, LSHS - that production is something to be extremely proud of. Stunning costumes, fantastic set design, brilliant acting (ignore the haters on the accents - it is a comedy and was hilarious) - and the choreography was jaw dropping good. What I hate about your show: I was thinking of doing this show at our school and now you are giving me second thoughts since your production was so grand. Standing ovation, folks.
This is a wonderful rendition of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang! I gotta say that every time they attempted the British accent I couldn't help but laugh. Hushabye Mountain has always been my favorite moment in the show and I was very intrigued that they added Truly in that moment and having her sing it while they were in the toy maker's workshop. I was kind of disappointed that they did that. I'm not saying it was bad because I most certainly am not because I thought that Potts' and Truly's voices meshed perfect. In my mind, Hushabye Mountain is supposed to be a special moment between Potts and his children. Throwing Truly into that moment kind of took away from the special moment because the spotlight goes to her instead of focusing on Potts and the children, but that's just my two cents.
I’m just seeing your comment now But if you search Chitty Chitty Bang Bang 2002 London it will come up with certain songs with Carrie as Jemima but I don’t think the full show exists unfortunately
I dont know who's idea it was to get Catcher involved with Bombie Samba, but it is the best thing I have seen (and I dont say jusr cause I simp hard for the (movie version) character)
