Can you use tapwater with this humidifier?

They do not recommend it. You can get away with it for a little, but if you have hard water like me it will eventually clog up. Not sure if this is a good idea, but you could try using vinegar if you ever get a clog from using tap water.

Total garbage. Mine does not mist at all. Tried everything. Buy something else.
