I just love the mom, she’s so positive and kind, yet I feel she is on your side on this argument

She is the really nice step-mom. It must have been hard for Rachel when she find out that she wasn't her biological mother.

I don't understand why people are calling Chloe awkward. She doesn't seem awkward at all. Just very witty, which makes sense because she's actually very intelligent as shown by her grades.

Nevermore yes she is very smart despite the grades. I mean her grades would’ve have been A+’s if she didnt ditch Blackwell

Because she behaves in irrational, immature and impulsive manner, uses geeky language and making child like points (most of her backtalk options insanely awkward, see her using dragon as analogy in her argumentation with bouncer and is loud, dramatic and obnoxious in her backtalk). This is not really solid evidence of high intelligence, being a car mechanic isn't profession that requires high intelligence, it's just requires pursue and knowledge regarding certain skillets that doesn't really require that much complexity and comprehension underlying rules behind workings of a car such as let's a physicists. High grades really doesn't mean much, prior to university it's more about memorization of knowledge than it's application and complex understanding of it. In essence you can be extremely intelligent and have bad grades for variety of reasons and you can be average/above average intelligence and have good grades because you're good at memorization of knowledge without having good understanding of it and being able effectively question validity of accepted by school curriculum knowledge. Her arguments in that discussion aren't really that well-thought out and I could easily counter them.

@@nagatouzumaki3492 reply to her privilege argument: "gratitude is just one more way privileged people tell the unprivileged that they should be happy with what they have." 'cause that seems like a good point to me
@nagatouzumaki3492
@nagatouzumaki3492 4 года назад
@@EduardoHerrera-fr6bd Easy. Assuming we are talking about privilege in terms of an advantage of specific person or group exclusive to it has Gratitude is a concept that is irrespective of ones amount of privilege, a monk that found himself in an environment enough food and material good to have simple life can be grateful for his non-luxurious lifestyle, while person that has abundance of food and material good may be ungrateful for what they have despite their luxury, thinking they deserve more. In addition there is no reliable measure to quantify privilege, sure Chloe family could be poorer than Rachel's one but she had much better family than Rachel and still lives in better conditions than huge portion of humanity in present times, let alone pretty much human history that she lives superior standard to even nobility. Her incorrect comment about gratitude doesn't disprove notion that she should be grateful for what she has and had as they were valuable, in this instance her family. What drives us to a point of responsibility that is brought up and Chloe can attempt to counter with fact that her father was responsible and he died in spite of it. Yet it's likely that it's due to this responsibility her father took she came to value him so much. He was there when she needed help, improve her life and made personal sacrifices for her benefit. Had he not done so and for an example abandoned her would she wouldn't have what she has and had, great experiences and memories, person that took care of her , financial stability etc. Her point that he died doesn't diminish what her father means to her and it's most likely because he took responsibility he meant for her that much.

T. Wood it’s called being an angsty teenager. It’s what gives her character
@t.wood01
@t.wood01 6 лет назад
The problem with this is that the execution of her character is abysmal. Her overall demeanor comes off way too awkward and I feel like the writers tried too hard to make Chloe this edgy teenager with blatantly overwhelming issues. Regardless, I'm not looking to argue; just stating my opinion. I'm well aware that I'm in the minority when I say that I strongly dislike Chloe and that she didn't deserve a spin-off game which -- again -- is my opinion.
