INGREDIENTS
2 large ripe bananas (about 240 grams); you can add a little more if you like
1 large egg, at room temperature
240 ml coffee or water, at room temperature
120 ml milk, at room temperature
120 ml vegetable oil
1 and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
230 grams all purpose flour
200 grams brown sugar
75 grams cocoa powder (dutch-processed)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 and 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 and 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Cake pan size: 7 inches, greased and lined with parchment paper
Oven temperature: 140 degrees Celsius
Baking time: 1 hour and 30 minutes (gas oven)
Baking time varies depending on the type of your oven. Please check your cake before baking time ends to avoid overcooking. If a toothpick or a skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean, then your cake is cooked.
