When my youngest was small, he used to hate it when I used the spatula to dish out the cake dough into the oven dish, because then there would nothing for him to lick out the bowl. Sometimes he would hide the spatula and ask me to use a spoon instead of a spatula. Just a sweet memory of my youngest who is turning 40 this year.
May I ask why? Have you tried baking margarine? It does have 70% fat content and the texture will therefore be very similar as to when using butter 🎉 Happy Baking.
