One of my earliest memories of my childhood was when I was in kindergarten, my best friend, Gabe, drank a carton of strawberry milk and not a minute later threw it up all over me. I was covered in pink vomit until my mom came to pick me up from school. This was probably 1998 or 1999. As someone currently in college for graphic design and photography, AI makes me terrified for the future of my career. No one will want to pay upwards of $100 an hour to get a design made if they can just pay for a midjourney subscription and write a prompt in. I already see people selling prints of ai “photographs” of crazy nature and landscapes. Photoshop artists are screwed as well, ai can make photoshop style images practically flawlessly for a tiny fraction of the cost.
