Materials
• 8" round cake - 1 batch of my vanilla cake recipe - cake.style/2016/03/01/vanilla-...
• 1kg Sweet Buttercream - cake.style/2016/03/01/sweet-bu...
• 300g white chocolate
• Flo-coat (this is first mixed with the gel food colors, and then they are added to the chocolate. This stops the chocolate from seizing when you add the color) - amzn.to/2rDmDgV
• gel food colors ( I used Sugarflair Ruby, Wilton Cream y Peach, Americolor Super black, Americolor Turquoise and Wilton Cornflour Blue)
• Parchment Paper
• Spatulas - amzn.to/22KYzEG
• Turntable - IKEA

Miss Blueberrymuffin I can't find it :( sad if this is true that bullies made her change! I feel like bullies have shaped so much of my life and stopped me from doing the things I love, so I can relate. But no more, we should always stand up and be ourselves, some people may not like it, but at least we will be true to ourselves! You can do it!!

Apparently it is true that she has stopped doing this because people have written mean comments. This is so sad! Vanessa, if you read this: your buttercream flowers inspired me to try this out as well! I succeeded and I love this technique! You as a person are great and your videos are / were it also! Chin up! I personally like the way she lets her work speak for itself. Sure, the meaningful explanations are helpful in understanding the context, but it's just as fun to watch her do it without the narration.

Hi Vanessa, thank you for this video. I am planning to make elements of this cake ahead and was wondering how long would the chocolate brush strokes keep if in an airtight container? And is it ok to freeze your vanilla cake or does it not taste as good if you do that then let thaw? Thanks again for your wonderful videos 😊

I went through her IG and I think she may have taken it down. Cliff notes was that because of trolls she was changing the format. Person can only take so much after all these years.

Vanessa, at 795K subscribers, I wouldn't pay too much attention to negativity about your previous videos. If they were not good, you wouldn't have that many subscribers :) That's when you know you are getting well known, when you have haters ;) Personally, I loved them. I loved how you explained everything and I could see what you were using for equipment and you explained where we could get the equipment and the view for me was better. I love your work and creative style. Hope to see you again soon!

It makes me sad that everyone is so upset with you for the way you do your videos now. Having a RU-vid channel is a ton of work! It takes hours to film a cake that would normally only take you an hour or so. And if you stand in front of the camera and talk, I'm sure it takes even longer! You have to remember that the video isn't filmed and then immediately upload. You have to edit everything together. Let's all remember that CakeStyle are actually people, with a family, and kids and other things in their lives besides RU-vid!

I feel like you're an old friend I haven't seen in a while :( I learned so much from you. I won't lie I'm not a big fan of the music videos and compilations but hey, you can't please everyone right ;) I read that you stopped talking because people were saying mean things and I've been thinking about it and I just cannot imagine what mean things anybody could've said about you.
