I just had to watch this video twice in order to properly enjoy it! The sheer sensuality of it is mazing! That dough, that liquid chocolate, that orange zest, those nuts.... OMG!
Salt doesn’t kill yeast, the only thing it does is compete with it when it comes to absorbing water resulting in a slower yeast activity. But you can safely sprinkle salt in your fresh, active or instant yeast without problem. You can even add salt and sourdough at the same time and nothing bad happens.
