This so perfectly highlights why Cersei may have been a "terrible" person... but she was a born ruler. Dany was a "good" person but a miserable failure of a ruler. I put terrible and good in quotes because Cersei made bad choices... for her personal life... she valued her children above all else which isn't a terrible or evil trait... it's actually noble and selfless... but she didn't care to kill, betray, or mass murder in the name of protecting them. Dany had a good heart when it came to her stance on slavery and "the wheel" but she also had quite an issue with entitlement and her own image. But also imagine if the world hadn't pit two powerful brilliant women against each other... I believe had Cersei and Dany ever really spoke, without the need of threats or grandstanding they would have been able to find common ground.

How to watch Game of Thrones in high quality

Cersei and Daenerys are two sides of the same coin. Cersei at least don't pretend to be a nice person and I love her for it.

This perfectly shows how hypocrite the silver haired b*tch and how Cersei's the righteous queen and that she's not actually the bad guy. The parallels,music and the scenes you put together is SO GOOD 💗💕💖

That's why a prefer Dany and Cersei's book version. They butchered Dany, all her complexity, suffering mistakes, and successes. And how she deals with the consequences of her actions. I love Cersei's show version, but originally in the books, she is dumb as a log.

I think overall Cersei ended creating the monster she said Daenerys was like her father evil and all that, she lied and was fully sure that she wouldn't dare to take the city with thousands of innocent people there, she deep down knew Daenerys wasn't like her, and she lied about Daenerys knowing it, she was fully sure that Daenerys wouldn't burn Kings Landing, but she push her so bad, and awake a The Dragon, and in the end an angry and broken dragon was far worse than a broken and angry lionees, Cersei created the monster
