So many great things about this. Tears. One of my all time favorite artists singing one of my all time favorite songs by another of my all time favorite artists. (With a nice big Brian Eno connection - another favorite!) Inspiring. Thank you!

I love how nervous and awkward Byrne seems at first, eyes darting looking to the choir then the choirmaster, hands in pockets. But then the choir fills the room with love for him/the song/the experience and he’s won over and at 3:15 or so he opens his throat and howls with conviction and strength. Very moving to see how each lifts the other, lovely.

Wow, this made the tears stream down my face! So relevant and perfect example of how and why we need music and art in school and at home!

Don't get me wrong, I am both a David Bowie and a Talking Heads fan, putting those two together is a recipe for success. However, the CHOIR easily makes this a powerful performance....they compliment Byrne's exceptional rendition of this song to a T.....easily my most favorite Choir Choir Choir song....easily! I'm sure those that were there on the day felt the emotion involved....I can listen to this anytime!

I try to come back to this at least once a month, and it ALWAYS stirs a powerfully beautiful emotion and I have to watch it more than once to keep feeling the feels.

Keep coming back to this video again and again, so uplifting and inspiring. Especially in light of 2020. 💙❤️💜. Good thing inspiration is timeless.

I can't believe that it wasn't until only about a month ago.....that I FINALLY got around to seeing 'Stop Making Sense'. I had always heard that it was considered to be one of the greatest 'live concert' films ever produced.

This is obviously great. Bowie is great. Hero's is a great song. David Byrne is a legend in his own right, would have been good to hear a Talking Heads track as well.

It takes a good singer to pull this song off and he did.

I lost my voice for a long 3 months this year (late February through late May) - bad cold late February followed by probably exacerbation of GERD - & it was hard for me to listen to choral music. But my voice is back now. What a phenomenal experience to sing that song with David Byrne! I don't know when we will be able to gather & sing that way again - if ever - but I long for that kind of unique togetherness. Well done!!

It's a lovely song and I wish I'd been in the crowd to sing along. But at a certain level we all know this is his and his alone. Always will be. Can never hear or sing this without feeling his presence and never never will.

It takes a certain maturity to really get this song... really young people maybe not so much, especially when it was first released. It - and Bowie - both have really grown on me over the years. I still really feel his loss... There's a hole in the world still.
