The feeling I get when I hear and watch this.... the smile that spreads across my face when I see so many people work together to make something wonderful and beautiful....this is why I sing in a choir

I like that they wear normal clothing. Shows that singing is actually such a natural and normal thing.

There is something spiritual in singing with a large group - one voice, one emotion binds us together.

This is one of my favorite songs. I love it all the ways it's been done.

I know this is an older vid, but it came up in my feed, and I watched while reading thru the comments and it struck me that many of the comments were about how they looked "ordinary" and just like "normal" people. And that's cos they ARE ordinary...... all choirs are full of normal ordinary people. Coming together to sing..... that's extraordinary, both the experience and the sound, but it's an experience everyone can, and should have. Singing is intrinsic to being human... ALL humans sing, and should be encouraged to sing. It's good for us, it's good for those listening... and hopefully, they'll give in to the urge to sing too. Singing is pure music.

I want the pandemic to end so that i can join this when i visit Toronto!
