I watched this series 3 times and here are my ultimate thoughts: - In terms of drafting, I think T1 got in their own heads a bit too much. They started playing heavy late game scaling comps with Jinx, Veigar and go slow in the early game but that's not really the style T1 are known for. - Gen G played absolutely on another level. If they play like this during Worlds or MSI they will be literally unstoppable. The level of coordination and synchronization, especially with some of these teamfights, is absolutely incredible. -In terms of players, and this hurts to say, but Faker and Zeus were by far and away the weakest points of the team. Both of them either made crucial mistakes or got picked off at important moments. I think the others held their own especially in the early game so I can't fault them too much. On Gen G's side Peanut did his job, he wasn't the star carry like he was during the KT series but the other 4 were absolutely at their best. Peyz and Delight are new to the team yet they seemed like they've been playing against the best of the best for years, such huge props to them. Doran proved he absolutely belongs in this team and is a fantastic player. And lastly Chovy proved his haters wrong and showed everyone why he is one of the best (if not the best) mid laners currently. Just so precise and a consistent rock all throughout the series. -All in all huge props to Gen G I think everyone counted them out especially at the beginning of the split after seeing Ruler being replaced with a rookie. And for T1 I still think they are an elite team and deserve to win something considering this is the 4th time in such a short time where they are losing in the finals (2 Lck finals, MSI and world's finals). Just the fact that they can make this many finals appearances is a testament to their strength and hopefully in the future they can buckle down and claim a trophy.

People kinda overate Keria. His champion pool is not that big. His main champion pool is hook sups and range sups. He has no confidence in hard engaging sup like Rakan, that's why he didn't pick once against GEN. He is a high-skill player in the laningphase surely. But out of the laningphase, he is not much better than other sup players. This regular season, T1 got 17-1. But in Vision Scoreboard, Keria and Oner are both 5th in LCK. In playoffs, T1 played 13 games and Keria's vision score was lower than the enemy team sups in 9 games. Keria is a weak map control support player. That's one of the most important reasons T1 lost 4 finals. Overall, Keria is a good player, but not a dutiful support.

To defend the Braum pick, I can absolutely see the thought process here: Lee Sin and Ahri want to be looking for flanks and picks, so its up to the support to keep the Aphelios safe during the early and mid-game. Braum is really good at doing that job. Gen.G already have a K'Sante and a Maokai, two melees who want to dive your backline. Braum counters those types of champs. Finally, Braum+Aphelios is just a solid lane in general, due to how effective Aphelios is at procing Braum passive. Gen.G already picked Jinx, so you know that they won't be going for a hard bully lane, especially since you already picked Ahri and Lee, who'll absolutely try to gank bot over and over again. Where I do agree is that Zeus should have picked a carry. Braum is already 100% on defense, no need to add a sion.

This was just a very calculated result for T1. Last year they won Spring but then lost MSI, Summer, and Worlds, so this year they lost Spring to that now they'll win MSI, Summer, and Worlds.

As a T1 fan I dont really view this negatively, since T1 literally beat them a week ago. Its a good evidence that loser bracket can make wonders, cause GEN G salvaged it and made it work, on the other hand T1 should really just look deeper into the fact that they collect runner ups like pokemons and solve it, cause it would be a shame to have this roster disbanded, not to mention their bracket stage starts with BO5 at MSI..

I don't really see t1 as over hyped at least with me and my friends I just see them as a top 3 team in the world and on some days I think they are the best and others i think they are the weakest of the top 3. I never saw them last year or this year as Samsung White when they just shit on everyone in 2014. Also, to be fair Gen G for me is probably one of the other top 3 teams in the world so just seems like there is some good competition.

This is my take, i think no one in t1 lectures the players especially faker anymore since kkoma left, based on what huni said kkoma was strict and gets mad and will lecture them if they made a mistakes. I feel like the coaching staff of t1 now are like "its okay" "tough luck" "lets do better next time" "fighting" every lose and mistakes players makes. I believe being lectured by a coach is essential for a team tho. Faker is no longer the old faker we used to know that calm, doesnt tilt and with tough mental and doesn't even have any reactions when pressured. Now if you look at faker face cams from 2022 until this recent match you'll notice that he's kinda tilted and panicking based on his expressions.

Well hopefully this time round no one expects them to win anything and the pressure of expecting to win MSI isn’t there. On a serious note though being a T1 fan and a faker die hard fan it’s hard to argue that T1 weren’t bad yesterday but I also feel that GenG were just that good too! Chovy gapped my idol, Zeus got gapped and delight was far and away the best support of the series (didn’t think Oner did too bad and Gumayusi was the only stable one). One thing I don’t like as a T1 fan is how cocky they can be especially Keria so I hope this humbles them. It would be a shame to see this roster disbanded because making every single final in last 5 comps is insane and I do feel part from mental block they are best team in the world as no other team has achieved that. I reckon with some mental training and a bit of humbleness from all players they can go and win MSI

5 best players in LCK? I don't think so. Oner never shows up on the big stage. Most of the time he plays like a low-skill player. He choked a lot, he INTs a lot. His hero pool is very small, Sejuani and LeeSin. He is not even close to Peanut or Canyon's level in the jungle. The only reason he can win is because he is in T1, not because he is better than other jungle players. I don't think he has the ability to carry a mid-tier team to the LCS playoffs if he is in LCS. Actually LCS has some jungle players much better than him. Oner, is just a mid-tier or low-tier player. People overate him just because he is in T1.

Also with that faker play, where he griefed at dragon - its like he was super aggressive when he doesnt need to be, might potentially just a mentality thing of still having the desire to pull out crazy plays to prove hes the goat rather than just simply doing what is correct idk. if t1 had been underdogs in all these finals that they lost, i wouldnt label them as chokers, but they were favoured in 3 of them. not only that, but just by watching the games you see players just clearly underperforming, especially zeus. he got gapped by doran, kingen and bin in all these finals. the only one of those 3 that is understandable is bin, but getting gapped by kingen and doran is just bad. Keria and guma seemed to be the only guys that were locked in and ready to play. i wonder if all this hype around the team somehow got to their head and so they went into the final expecting to just win and expecting gen g to just bend over. either way, its too many instances of losing and its definitely a pattern

Zeus and faker were really bad this series. Doran came up big in my opinion he was the mvp. He created so many plays and t1 just couldn't stop getting punished by his gragas.
