Man! The old Chon is like a young, childish and issued kid who always use all his power like a beast. But after years of experience this kid become wiser and wiser, now he is grown man who master his craft at its best and always prefer technique over raw power, truly the way of a master. Thats why Chon's music more quiet along with the time but still fucking hit the roof and fuck my ears hard.
Its so sad that as a new fan ill never see them play live, ever go to a festival with them, ever see them tour, ever see them make anything new again i hate what the industry did to them its sick and dispicable and i hate it for everyone who has/had the same passion for music like this
Hard to say what the future will bring, but what we do know is their passion and dedication to music brought them here. While leaves and flowers may fade and fall, roots planted so deeply do not easily disappear.
If you want this music to come back it’s up to you to make it happen. Start learning guitar, drums, any instrument if your desire for music like this is that strong
@@gideonlew i have been learning guitar for the last 6 years (im 16) and now just started learning their songs but thanks for the inspiration for the drums part fr
Thank you CHON for pushing me to master the guitar and for encouraging to dive deeper into the realm of music as a whole. Bumping my head and feeling cool and stylish while doing so 😎🆒🔥❤️🔥 1/11/2024 -5:25pm EST, Thursday
I wouldn't because that is a major crime. Would still be cool to hear a rerecording but I'm not going to go through such a massive crime for it though but To Each His Own.
@@OhTheEzekiel i dont why if i listen to recorded vdeo like this it's give so much feeling and ambience that we never hear in any kind of modern mixing mastering. I dont knowcwhat to called this.
The closest thing we have are live recordings, I rlly like them because the song is slightly different, I like how some of it is a bit different like it slows down a bit and Nathan having to use a single pedal live, which I think is rlly cool
It literally is tho 😭 i love them and their knew sound but every release got progressively worse imo. I just find myself zoning out more and more especially in their latest release. This old stuff just has a quality that makes it constantly engaging to me. (A lot of rhythm and riff changes with punchier effects and more energy/ life.)
this is like a djent-prog metal-math rock lol. If you like this stuff you should check out the early Polyphia EP's (Inspire and Ressurrect), so good too (you could also enjoy Chon's Newborn Sun EP). If the vocals doesn't bother you, also check Dopplegänger by The Fall Of Troy. Hope this be helpful, grettings from Argentina!!
this all happened when we were like 14 15 just let it die fam not a happy time to be nostalgic about for either of us please i sound crazy when I say I was in Japan when it leaked into the airspace
anyways mario is just making fun of me by showing everybody how easy the mindblowing stuff to me is he hasn't even shown his own work hardly since he signed with sumerian cruise control coolin playin smash w the homie and lil bro
You know what man.. One of these days I was actually worth knowing when I wrote all this...Erick actually gave me his number after his set in seattle. I called. He answered. I hung up. That's life. I reached out on twitter with nonsense and he blocked me. Idk I got nervous and this release has been super nerve wracking as I've had no support and everything is literally all in my head from the lyrics to the band members it's all whirling out of my forehead like some fooly cooly cringefest only this has been going on for a little more than 6 episodes don't you think or
hard disagree, that’s what makes these albums novel. they wouldn’t be novel if they made the same record every time and you wouldn’t enjoy these albums as much. their newer music isn’t “mature”, it’s just evolved. it’s more musically complex and tasteful and more technical than anything they’ve released in the past, i think what you’re saying is pretty mislead. enjoy chon for chon, every album is special.
@@noahwhitesell6123 I think he just finds the newer music boring compared to this ep, but that’s just his taste though. I do wish they bounced around the new and old styles every now and then to keep things alive and explore/ innovate in their own sound. But for sure chon is chon and they’re one of a kind
even a simpleton like me can hear that these guys are influenced by jazz. does that mean they stole their songs from some other band? are you kidding bro? if there were another band that composed the same actual songs i think people would know, and you know, let's say they did rip these songs from some other band; have you seen them play their shit live? it doesn't take away from their talent as musicians whatsoever. EP is great end of story :D
