Great vid but I wish u did more analysis of the solo like what solfege we are playing and over what chord for the tension theory. Just memorizing the song is rewarding sure but the feeling of really digesting a solo can become an integral part of our own solos

Honest feedback: as someone who can read guitar tabs, I found exactly 2 frames of this video worthwhile.

I know. For those who are advanced at guitar this is indeed the case. The video is aimed for people who are more at the beginner/ intermediate level in CHONS’s guitar playing styles. By simply stating which finger positions etc I am using it may help some with getting it down. I could always just post a playthrough with the tabs displayed, or no tabs and you would have to just listen to me talking. Would definitely save me a lot of work. But I wouldn’t be catering to as many people as I can if I did that. Idk, man I’m just trying stuff I guess. Glad it was helpful though! Even if it was for just 2 frames.

You have the second to last measure in part 2 wrong my dude. It doesn't match how the song sounds or live footage. Everything else is right though. Here is a tab that matches live footage which you can use for your videos if you want: tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/tab/chon/waterslide_guitar_pro_2540298
