The centre section of the fuel cap swings to the side to expose the lock .I dont find the heat from the exhaust to be a problem. nice video

Good review. I took one out a few weeks ago and i Love em. I normally ride a Harley night train and a 1200 bandit and found i was giggling like a kid while riding the scrambler. Tim

Great video, thanks! I'm nearly sold on the Scrambler, and my only hesitation is the one you voice -- heat. I'll be running it in India in hot temperatures, up to 100 deg F or so. Could you just confirm, you found you were touching the heat shield when standing, but not while riding? The scrambler is a great bike for India -- a bit of extra clearance, tires that work a bit better on the gravel patches we have all over the place here, and it's a bit roomier in the cockpit than the Street Twin. I'm just concerned about that heat...

Many things to like in your video. Funny about the gas cap. If this version of the scrambler had come out at the same time I might have bought it instead of the T120. Happy with my bike but I do like the street scrambler. Mixed opinions about the exhaust temps. Some seem to think it is fine and the plates work. I will get a ride on one at some point soon. Thanks for your efforts. Keep up the good work!

Excellent review, thank you, and I'll second the Street Twin or T100 for a comparison to the Scrambler. Side note: Your camera is focused on your helmet and rear view mirror which makes the street riding a little blurry.

nice vid, how does this bike compare in it's weight feel to the others?
@MotoChooch
@MotoChooch 7 лет назад
Heavier than the Rebel, but I think on par with the thruxton.

Will you be doing anything with the Street Twin or T100/T120?
@MotoChooch

Leifenguard should be! Next one going up is a Guzzi and I got on a Street Triple RS. I'll ask about the twin.

Top of fuel cap has a swivel bit. Slide it and then put your key in to remove.

Not sensing much excitement for the scrambler. Too overshadowed by your new Tiger XRT?
@MotoChooch
@MotoChooch 7 лет назад
Mark Heinig I wouldn't call it exciting. It's a nice refined bike but it's not exactly a blood pumper.

rode it. you wouldn't believe how cool it is. The front where the cat is, is warmer but is fine to touch.

Not cool to park on a handicapped spot, lol, seriously tho, don't do that.
@MotoChooch

Tobyey it’s not parked. It’s staged. And I’m out there the whole time. If someone comes in and needs the spot I move it. That’s where the ramp is to get he bikes in and out of the dealer. Nothing is left there unattended.
