We randomized the starter choices in pokemon Scarlet and Violet! We will take turns telling the other player the pokedex number for each randomized starter, and they will have to choose which one they want on a team for a battle! Who do you think wins?

Power Trip works off your own stat boosts, that's why it didn't increase your damage.

It has a base power of 20 if you don’t have stat boosts.

The move that QuickGG was thinking of was Punishment which has base power of 60 and gets stronger by 20 with each boosted stat the opposing Pokemon has. It was removed in Gen 8

Clanging Scales, Freeze Shock, Double Iron Bash, and Sunsteel Strike are all signature moves of Pokemon that aren't in Scarlet and Violet yet. That's why they're in the game but can't be used. They're placeholders.

It seems that moves that belong to mons that aren't in the game can't be used. No Melmetal = no double iron bash. No Kommo-o = no clanging scales.

I think GG thought Power Trip was Foul Play. Power Trip is only like 20 base damage and scales on your own stat increases.

Challenge Idea: Pick starters based on being told what its highest base stat is (or multiple if its tied). If hydreigon is a choice you would tell the other person that special attack is the highest. If you're told a pokemon has all stats tied it could be a mew or it could be a sunkern, could be interesting

I like how you guys don't evolve the pokemon and show some respect to base and middle evos. Most other poketubers evolve them and it's just all fully evolved pokemon battling it out, but not evolving them makes it much more fun. Keep it up with the vids!

I love you guys. I remember when you used to have 5 Pokemon sometimes because 15 minutes wasn't enough time. Also when you didn't care about abilities or play any games past gen 2. The Showdown days. I love how active you are in your own community. It gets harder to keep up with comments as your channel grows, but you guys always try your best to be active and interact with your fans. This is the only Pokemon content I watch. I don't watch for the Pokemon gameplay, I watch for you guys. Don't be afraid to branch out, your fans will support you ❤️

You should do a random starter one where each time you pick one for you and the other. At the end you would have 12 mon each and would pick 3 you chose and 3 the other chose for you.

Maybe you figured it out, but power trip is the same as stored power, just dark. It's YOUR boosts it takes into account, not the opponent's.

Love your vids along with Quick Here's an idea for you both: Spin a wheel with numbers 1-9 Whatever the number you must random encounter a Pokémon with something pertaining to that number (E.G. roll a 3 and random encounter a Tauros which you catch because it has 3 tails). Random encounter Random Pokémon Random abilities Fully evolved 3 skips Spin the wheel to determine feature of Pokémon to capture

How about this as a challenge? You both get 1 masterball and 15 regular pokéballs. You can catch what you want until you run out of pokéballs. This would give you one guaranteed catch so there is at least a battle. And with the 15 regular pokéballs you can try to go for strong hard to catch pokémon to get a strong, but possibly not a complete team. Or you can go for easier to catch weaker pokémon so you have a full team and possible some extra choices to make the best team possible from weaker choices.

Probably wont happen but do a video where you catch 3 fully evolved starters and 3 legends but you have to do it from 3 different gens, also you have to catch one of each type, water, grass and fire and whatever gen you catch starter you have to catch a legend from that generation as well. Be dope i think or a all out starter fully evolved battle, just a suggestion, love the videos ❤

30 minutes to catch a team. you can grab any pokemon you want, but the final 6 can't have any overlapping types meaning if you use gyrados you can't use blastoise or charizard.
