In this video I'll be discussing Pick Up Tools for Rhinestones. I'm going to be talking about the various pickup tools that you can use when you bedazzle.

I'm gonna go in order of quality and cost. Some of the tools I will cover are the wax pencils, crystal katana, pick me up, glue bottles, and tweezers. I'm gonna be showing and demonstrating each tool how they pick up a pearl how they pick up large stones and why they pick up the smaller stones if you are a true bedazzle you're gonna have like a few tools that you use . With the pink tool, you're supposed to stamp the glue so it goes inside not hang off at the end.

How do you "stamp" the glue?

@@lauriejohnson9021 i mean, press the pen into the glue so that the glue goes inside the nib of the pen, then flatten the end so the glue doesnt bulge out. this is one of the best pens to use.

Jasmine, you are not using the pink pen with the wax correctly. You don't wad up the wax. It comes in that flat square an all you do is take the pink pen and jab the pink wax. If you look at the brass tip, it has a hole in it. When you push the pen into the FLAT wax square, it fills that brass tip with the wax. Then you only have to jab it (refill) it once in a while as the wax wears down/out. That's it. It's a great tool

this video covered everything i needed! thank you! i'm so glad you reviewed and demo'd all the different tools. the pink picker with the rhinestones are the prettiest, and im glad that they work well! i was wondering if the white wax pencil worked the same, but i'm glad to know it's actually worse. will be definitely getting the pink picker, thanks!! with the rhinestone tray, do you recommend the one in the video? i've seen pink triangle ones without the ridges that look cuter than the funnel shaped one. how about putting rhinestones in a mini china dish? will that work too?

I recommend the trays from www.etsy.com/shop/My3Ddesigns . They have custom trays specific to the size of the stone . I own like 12 , In sizes ss12,ss16, ss10 and ss20 . You can cover your tray with his covers and it comes with a funnel to easily remove the stones .

Uh that first tool, you’re supposed to push that silver into that pink goo and pull it up. It will be inside and it’s neater

ive seen pickup tools with a button. Whats the button for? I cant find this on google, but is the glitter inside the pickup tool just for looks? Ive seen with many different colors and they all have glitter inside. Does glitter come out when you press the button? And why are they all different colors?

Ive never done my nails before. When you pick up the rhinestones with the waxy side it wont come off so i have to slide the rhinestones off and they fall off my nail.same as if i used the pencil. What am i doing wrong? Also, do you use a pickup tool with a button thats supposed to grab the rhinestone? That seems like a better idea but i cant find where to buy them. Thanks

You have to clean the katana with alcohol wipes and I shape my tip when I do it. If you touch it with your bare hand it tends to fail

Does anyone know how to get the rhinestones out of the middle of the pink tool?? I want to use those but I can't get the thing open! Great vid, very useful! I really enjoyed the comparison. 😁👍

Those are just decorative. Swarovski has pens with crystals in it, so many companies use the fake crystals to fill their tools up but it’s strictly for decorative purposes.

@@edwinbetancourt7301 Hey, thank you for that reply! I didn't know that about Swarovski, and that's very interesting! Nothing stops me when I'm on a mission, however -- I did manage to find a simple way to get them open without destroying the tool and now I've had access to all my colours! 😁👍
