Really informative video, thanks for that! I've had a few ideas of how to pick my stages but never thought about those depths you brought up like how close you are to the danger zone in the off center position or how important the distance of the side platforms to the ledge is. Really insightful, keep up that high quality content!

I’ve always chose to ban FoD over Dreamland against Puff for these exact reasons, and it’s reassuring to see a top player like yourself have that same mindset. FoD against Puff is awful.

Hey ginger, have you ever considered making Falco matchup guides in a similar style to ssbm tutorials? You could show how to deal with specific situations, how to edge guard the other character, how to space effectively and use lsers to the fullest in the MU etc. And I think everyone would eat that up! I certainly would. Just something to consider :)

Love the vid but do you ever get the feeling that you shouldn't be giving all this info away to your competitors aha? I think even a lot of top players could learn a lot from your stuff

Earthworm it becomes a trade off between getting the upper hand, or furthering the growth/understanding of the game

@@jdk3096 I love FD. The surprising thing is there are top Falcos that don't know how to play there, but I think it has more to do with the mentality that it's a "bad" stage for Falco. I has disadvaages but Falco is able to exploit weaknesses that his match up spread also suffers from because of FoD. Marth, Puff and Fox obviously do pretty well there but Samus for example, as much as she has a good game for the stage like recovery and platform traps, also lacks some of her options especially once you get her near the corner. Falco need to learn to be comfortable on FoD, it's not a stage Falco should hate. Sure it's a counter pick but he is not at the disadvantage the other counter picks affect Falco with.
