Video opening: "Choosing a streaming service: it's kind of like choosing a president. You decide on one, but you kind of like a couple of qualities of the other one and a third party is pointless." That statement alone made me LIKE and SUBSCRIBE
@Michael Vinsonhaler it's a movie about how disgusting and horrible child pageants and dance companions are, but they show way too much and it's practically child porn... People have been all up in arms about it, but those same people were watching toddlers in tiaras, so it's a bit of a double standard
that it so true .... The really sad thing is that it's not just Cuties. So many shows and movies that are like Cuties or even worse that are mainly from the liberal media mindset act like this kind of thing is good when the Christian knows in his or her heart that its not good God help us to fix our eyes on you for YOU are the author and perfector of our faith. While we as Christians are at fault too for our sins and mistakes unlike non Christians we actually have a hope. The future of an unbeliever ends in despair but ours is one of everlasting freedom, hope, and Jesus. Teach us discernment to deal with our fellow neighbor and give us grace and mercy for every trial ahead and help us to realize that the Battle belongs to you!
@@KpopMom1980 yep, exactly! Additionally, everyone who is boycotting Netflix believes the actresses are 10 & 11 yrs old when they're in high school. They're professional actresses and professional dancers, not little girls lol. It's unpleasant to watch them dance provocatively, but that was exactly the point of the movie. It was supposed to be a commentary on the oversexualization of our children, and how it effects children. I would ask them how that gripping message could have been portrayed without actresses who look younger than they are? It was made by a woman, in France, to help us see how our objectification of women is influencing the way girls develop today. Instead, ppl missed the point completely and thought it was straight up child p orn made for p edofiles. The same ppl never watch foreign films, but somehow thought this particular movie was one they personally cared about lol I watch more international films than US-made movies, and it definitely wasn't meant to entice or attract men. We were all meant to be shocked and appalled, talk to our kids about the music videos, tv and movies they watch to try to protect their innocence...but ppl are so shallow and couldn't even get past the cover. What a waste of an opportunity to help our children.
If I had to chose one, I would probably say MSNBC just because it is more left wing than CNN. Meanwhile, CNN and Fox are about equidistant from neutral simply on opposite sides of the political spectrum, meaning that by listening to and analyzing the biases of both you can get a relatively neutral idea of current events.
Levi Cross Cool. So if you own anything Nike, you support child labor, sweatshops, and slavery. Oh and don’t forget if you enjoy HBO, which made Game of Thrones, you support heinous murder, and prostitution. Oh let’s not forget, if you support Hulu, you are an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and normalcy. I’m not saying Cuties isn’t heinous, but if you’re going to cancel one service for heinous sin, be consistent and cancel all of them.
Finding out that old 106 & Park episodes, classic Comicview (You know with Cedric the Entertainer or Bruce Bruce hosting) , the GOOD BET Awards, etc. are not on BET+ was one of the most disappointing things of all time!
Although I have no intention to get another streaming service (I have Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, and Disney+), I think it’s a good thing that there are so many services. It means they can all compete with each other, which prevents monopolies from forming. Once a monopoly or even a duopoly forms, those one or two services can really exploit their customers, just like the cable companies did.
"ROKU, which is if food stamps was a streaming service" was so funny! And the bit about RU-vid TV. The whole bit about Redbox, which I had forgotten about! Thanks, excellent as always. I had to say Sam & Ella's real fast and I totally got it the 3rd time. I needed to laugh like that. I like to watch one of your videos before I start working because I know I'm going to be laughing and it puts me in a good mood.
Disney+ actually has a lot of documentaries, I also like watching all of the vet shows like Dr Pol and Dr Oakley. And I know a lot of college students who are hardcore Disney fans who have it because they’re still into what it puts out
To be fair, there are no contracts that lock you into these services for any period of time. You can turn them on and off at any time and in most cases you won't even lose your account or watch history when you "cancel." That is one of the big advantages of streaming services that we did not have with cable and satellite. Turn a service on, binge watch your show of choice, and then turn it off when you don't need it. There is no need to choose one service or the other. And for the record, New Star Trek is the reason to have CBS All Access. Soon it will be Viacom+ anyways.
I'm so happy your doing this right now! We are literally in discussions of this currently in our family... thank you so much...and of course, as always, Hilarious! A note, NBC's uh,mascot?? Is the peacock (and in the color scheme ) Pahahaha....Ari gold joke-#golden Health insurance vs streaming service... pahahaha...I so wish there was a broker too! I have peacock, it is good ,js lol😅🤣
They have like 4 membership tiers and pulled out of a larger streaming service I forgot the name of. Pretty sure they're about to become desperate for money.
Gah same with the antenna when I was growing up! Lol you just didn’t adjust in a storm! Fox was always fuzzy no matter what 😂. Hilarious as always ❤️ 😊
I was just thinking of that! Their food is really good! Went as a nursing student after having to take microbiology-learning about diseases...the irony 😂
FOX was a little risque back in the day - surprised your parents let you watch it. Remember Married...with Children was on Fox, and The Simpsons... risque!
John - “Have you ever seen people without internet? They turn insane.” Me not being able to get WiFi at my house because they won’t bring the internet line out and also being a Christian homeschooler and having 4 brothers and no sisters - “yep, about right” 😂
Im really glad that sound wasn't in your house and just outside! How large IS your house that it could have been an option for a large piece of equipment to be inside and reversing!!!
CBS All Access has The Twilight Zone, first 10 episodes free, all the STAR TREKs, Cheers, Young Sheldon, last 3 episodes free and Taxi. My life is forever improved!
I was going to say it wasn’t in Ohio. Being from OH, I wasn’t surprised I never heard of it but wanted to look it up. He must have saw Ok and thought Oh.
There are some cable shows that I like but they've started putting basically everything played on cable onto streaming services so i just have 6 different streaming services that I use to get all my shows
In case you have not heard, Hulu just released a movie titled Unpregnant about a teenage girl and her friend going cross country to get an abortion without her parents' consent and against the father's wishes. And yes the bad guys I the movie is the Christian family looking to help her. I don't know how cinema could have sunk so low
Look, I understand that abortion really is bad if ur just doing it, but is it right that because you were, say, raped, or have a medical condition that could kill you, that you would be forced to conceive the baby anyways
Cable TV is only necessary IMO for local stations. For everything else streaming services have the same offers 😀 also RoKu is not a streaming service it actually comes in handy when installed within your TV as it offers access to streaming media content from various online services. 😂
I used PBS Passport to stream Victoria and Downton Abbey, but Downton moved to Peacock. Great Performances has the occasional play I might watch, but only reason I still have it honestly is due to my $10 monthly pledge.
