Which wireway for a sol-ark 15k install. A 36” 12”x12” wireway is the minimum size recommended for a neat , single Sol-Ark 15k install. A 4’ is probably the best size. Contact us today to order your Sol-Ark!

I like that you show your work. Thinking I wouldn't put that transfer switch that low.. thinking I would make a little wider area just in case you need to add another bank of batteries or another inverter or a larger inverter etc if possible

Another great tip video. I see some of your installs that have a 12” deep wireway panel under flush mount panel. How does that pass inspection? Thought rule was 6”.

We are in a pretty slack area. I should be furring them out with unistrut but do as I say not as I do!!

The 15k is a bit more than 6” so a 12” wireway below it is generally not a problem.

@@balrog006 it is a concern as you can’t have anything protruding more than 6” in front of the service panel per NEC. A 12” deep wireway would be a violation for a flush mount panel.

Well if the front of the inverter and the front of the wireway are in the same plane and flush with each other-nothing is protruding that 6” so it isn’t an issue.

@@balrog006 you are not reading my statements…under a flush mount panel. Wireway in front protrudes 12”….6” more than allowed.

Do you find the PDB to be more economical than using a “Polaris” type multi compression connector? Thanks.

My inspection failed because I had my 12 inch wireway running below my flush mount main panel. It's taking 2+ months for new wireways to arrive lol

I’d go to a sheet metal shop and have the mark you a new top

With the transfer switch mounted underneath like that, how tall does the Sol-ark display end up? If 6" bottom solark clearance plus 12" wireway + 30" transfer switch height + 24" from bottom of Sol-ark to the display that would be about 72" - maybe a little high?

Where can you purchase these type of wire ways?

How high can you out the sol ark?
@GainSolarPower

The only code I could think of that would limit you is the 6’7” height limit of a switch handle but it probably wouldn’t be a problem.
