Video is helpful to see the steps in SPSS to view the comparison. It seems that the choice most likely is going to be the Shapiro-Wilk over the Kolmogorov-Smirnov in most cases.
Thank you for that very useful and valuable tutorial. I wish you would have said whether or not you would have carried out an ANOVA or a Mann-Whitney, which would have been even more helpful, and how you would justify which one you would have chosen.
Thanks for the video. It was helpful. However,for my work, my factors were male and female; the p-value for the male was 0.001 and that of the female was 0.157.......with this do I conclude that the data was normally distributed or not?
