I just got rid of my Blues Jr and picked up an AC15 - my vote corresponds with my decision.

Vox. Way better and more reliably built than that ticking time-bomb Fender puts out.

Another thing to keep in mind is that the fender doesn’t just go up to 11… it goes up to 12!

The Vox has a "tube" low in thump in my ears. Best way I can describe it from my end. Gives it a bit of a bass punch on the accents.......a warm, smooth bassy low end.

Because I have good pedals , I prefer the blues junior with upgraded speaker is still cheaper than vox ac15, cleans are better then and good pedals offer a better overdrive and distortion

I really like both. My Tweed Blues Junior is one of my favorites and my Vox AC's gain stage is another favorite. Can't go wrong with either or both.

I have the original tweed BJ, after watching this, I’m glad I do. I’m not a fan of the control layout on the Vox. As for tones, I’ve switched out the speaker on my BJ, installed a Carr Kingpin, also put some Tungsol preamp tubes in there, JJ’s power tubes. It sounds very different now. Sounds amazing really. Thanks for doing this, I ordered my Vox yesterday! I love the dirty crunch it produces and as far as traveling and lugging around the amp, it’s only to the living room so I laid off my roadie…
