I really like my black rak. I should have ordered a size up as they are exact sizing as on chart. At 5' 10", 195lbs and 42" chest, the Large is good with one sweater underneath or a t-shirt and thin sweater layer. Best advice to get a happy fit with this excellent product is to put on three layers that you might wear and then measure your chest. If it is a little loose when you have fewer layers it is fine, but not the other way around. I got mine with the trim and it looks great.
❤This is a bucket list item for me. I thought I'd test out if I like the style and fit of an anorak by ordering a cheap knockoff from China, and now I REALLY want the real deal! Unfortunately, the real deal comes at real high prices for my budget, so I'll have to start saving up😊 Do yourselves a deal, save for real anorak. Cheap crap from Amazon may LOOK the same, and may be advertised as WOOL, but you're buying polyester fleece which isn't wind resistant and will soak up rain like a sponge😢
When purchasing a Boreal Anorak, DON'T forget, you will be charged Customs & VAT❗️I bought a Loden, and when it arrived I had to pay nearly a third again in custom charges, living in the UK. The Anorak is beautifully made, obviously a very high quality garment, warm and fits really well . But DON'T FORGET those import duties, outside of Canada it will make a huge difference in how much the Anorak costs overall ❗️😫

You said you were wearing an XL, and reccomended going up 2 sizes. Would that not be a 3XL? Just looking for clarity. Love the looks/design of this product. Im looking forward to someday soon having a BMA system! Thanks!!!
Nah, didn’t get it. Your explanation is confusing because your way of counting is unclear. Your state “...2 sizes up in the canvas...” if you are XL 2 sizes up means 3 XL (XL →XXL →XXXL)but you said 2XL? You mean for winter: Variation 1, XL t-shirt, XL Wool anorak, then 2XL or 3XL canvas Anorak? Variation 2, XL base-layer and jackets etc plus 2XL wool or canvas anorak?
