Choosing the Right Aquabound Ray Paddle 

It’s pretty easy to smooth out the carbon shafts on these. I use 600 grit wet or dry sandpaper (or finer) with water, and it’s just enough to smooth the edges from the carbon tape, without removing the finish. The result, it makes the section where you grip the paddle not rough on your hands and then becomes comparable in feel to the carbon shafts on the Werner paddles.
