Fun fact: krypt king (chop chop daddy beck then) was also meant to be the undead giant until he got replaced by Eye-Brawl. So he instead became a trap master.
One of the many awesome things about Chop Chop: In giants there is a level where the ship you are in gets raided by by other ships with cannons that constantly shoot you until you do your task. If you are chop chop you can use your shield to deflect the cannonballs, what makes it even better is that it’s realistic, meaning when your shield is hit, the time you can use it for it drained. When I played this level with my sister she would go behind me while I used the shield lol. Ah.. nostalgia
7:41 for the last ability, you have to keep taking damage with the shield until it causes a huge explosion of dark fire in front of you, it one shots the minions in the final boss in ssa, which is why it's s useful
@@kryptkrusher oh, yeah, I forgot to mention that I also never knew that until I found out about a year ago also, fun fact, his shield path is way more op in the first two games, but, from swap-force to imaginators it was nerfed, so, the sword path is way better. as for elite chop chop, the sword path is definitely the way to go, and, the weird thing is, series 2 chop chop's shield bash does more damage than the eon's elite in some games 0_0
@@ender01o66 Chop Chop's shield bash damage without a wowpow is almost nothing so it makes sense that his series 2 wowpow does more than the elite shield bash. Kinda a shame though because it gives no incentive to shield bash if you dont have the wowpow since its so weak
A note about the sword path: By increasing your sword's damage and range, you also increase the healing Chop Chop can receive, by killing more enemies faster. It means it becomes a choice between do you want to take less damage in the long term, or risk more damage in the short term for faster healing
Chop chop is definitely one of my personal favorites because not only is his attacks simple yet effective, but his design just looks cool (simple and yet it is timeless). Also hope you have an excellent day.
I'm in defense of the shield bash upgrade. For me that thing was so much fun to use, it was really good at defense and offense. It's also really satisfying to kill enemies with it. Chop chop is by far my favorite skylander.
I know a use for chop chops other combo! When you use it, it makes you leap when you do your bramble attack, which covers a good amount of distance. Essentially, you can do this combo and then spam your bramble attack a bit and go faster.
I got this bad boy on eBay early January. He is absolutely fantastic! Incredibly unique design, great move set and two awesome upgrade paths. Undead has always been my favourite element, and Chop Chop just made that decision far easier. Everytime I use him, he can always slice and dice the competition easily! Great video as always, Krypt! Can't wait for the next 'basically' video.

I remember when I was a kid, I loved chop chop And I also was super proud that I made the “Revolutionary” connection between Chop-Chop and the Arkeyan defenders, also Drill Sergeant and the rest of the Arkeyans
Chop chop is my favourite skylander in any game, hands down. Hell, I have both the normal and twin blade variant so I can hotswop between his upgrade paths :)
Chop Chop was my main in Giants. My brother played Tree Rex, and things were pretty awesome as we played. I was an agile sword swinging skeleton knight, and he was a tree man lol. I think it makes part of the reason I love medieval knights and dark ages stuff.

I’ve tested both paths in swap force with series 2 chop chop. honestly I prefer shield path, especially with the wow pow, it becomes super powerful and I use it just as much as the sword move.
I can help with using the shield bash. Put the end of your thumb on Square, and the underside of your thumb joint on Circle. I hope that makes sense and doesn't sound confusing
This used to be a friend of mine's favorite skylander back when SSA was new. And when I say favorite, I mean he didn't have the game, a portal, or any other skylanders, but he had 3 or 4 Chop Chops right next to each other in his room, still in their boxes.
Everybody seems to be talking about how shield bash can be done easily on Wii versions but in the 3DS Skylanders games, shield bash is done by pressing secondary attack button twice.
I see you encountered that Chop Chop glitch in Imaginators. It's so annoying when that happens after blocking with his shield. I have to keep taking him off and on the portal whenever that happens. Anyway, great video. I chose the sword path, but I have Series 1 Chop Chop, so no Shield dash or Dual Swords. 😔
things to know is Chop Chop has been nerfed since Swap force beacause in Spyro's adventure and Giant , Chop Chop's shield was taking NO DAMAGE from attack and reflected projectiles directly to the opponent even in nightmare mode he was rolling on the game and in PVP the wow pow from chop chop series 2 is dumb beaucause you simply don't let your opponent breath , he's so fast with his mega shield bash
Chop chop was always my favorite character as a kid, I had both the series 1 and series 2 one and quickly found out that the shield is unbelievably overpowered and could get you through any type of situation allive since you only take 1 damage and are invinsible during the shield bash😃
I’ve got this guy’s blue base one. He is lots of fun and I absolutely love him! Also was once an Arkeyan warrior, now that’s awesome. Also I don’t think they reproduced: I think they were just father and son when they alive before they became skeletal revenants. Or maybe it’s more like an adoptive family sort of thing maybe. Who knows.
Think about this: In Skylanders Giants, there are statues resembling Chop Chop in the first stage, AKA the Arkyean Mine. Also, Chop Chop HAS A FUCKING SKELETON. WHAT ROBOT HAS A SKELETON!? The statues imply that there are more like Chop Chop, which makes me think that the Arkyeans would *take the corpses of their fallen enemies and turn them into cyborg warriors.* That is gnarly.
