But don't underestimate them, Some of the strongest legends have devil fruits that are Paramecia. The second is Zoan, which allows a user to transform into an animal as well as an animal hybrid. Chopper's devil fruit is classed as Zoan as well as a few other characters we have seen and will see. This also has the two sub-classes that are the rarest but that is not important now. Finally we have Logia, which grants a user the power to create, control, and transform their body into a natural element. Smoker is a Logia user and most are immune to normal damage without certain weaknesses. Logia are rarer then the other two and powerful in the right hands.

Well it true I'd an human ate that devil fruit it would honestly be useless but since Chopper an animal he can't transform and use different forms and he found a way to inhance it
