You mentioned in the commentary that Dead Heat keeps appearing in polls and losing, and that one day you might just enact an executive order and choose Dead Heat anyway. That’d be pretty sweet. Additionally, I’d also like to recommend my favorite double-feature with Dead Heat: The Hidden, starring Kyle McLachlan. It’s a buddy cop body-snatcher movie, its pace is relentless, and I love it to pieces.

I think you might like Evolver. I'm so glad I could remind myself of the title by googling 'movie with robot who shoots ball bearings'. It's about some stupid kid's toy where the toy rolls around your house and the kiddies shoot a fake laser at it, except that the toy really hates to lose (hence why it replaces the foam balls it launches with steel balls). I saw it as a kid with my dad and had a good time.

Funny to hear Butter Guy was the other writer of Meet Dave. I had to check because I was sure Bill Corbett wrote Meet Dave since he makes jokes about its failure a lot and attributes the experience of making it to why he can never work in Hollywood again. mandy, please give lower decks a chance, its a legitimately good show (other than the first two episodes, a lot like TNG, they stumble at the start but then pick up and just keep getting better as it goes) Also, the crossover is the other way around, the lower decks character go to live action.
