Who would love a video where who go through a little bit of history of the farm and little interviews with the family and workers? 👍👍Thumbs up and make Eric see this!
Your a good role model for the younger generation.. your family and wife sure must be very proud of you too..as I read there are a lot of Americans that feel the same..you bring back that spark that the so many are missing !! Honor ,integrity, dedication... Heck I don't even know you but want to shake your hand !!
After watching the other channels with their 24 and 36 row planters, there's something quite enjoyable watching a simple 6 row planter using markers and no auto steer.
Thanks for another great video. I like to learn. The more you explain the better. It may be old news to many, and of course up to you to decide what to include, but I like to hear lots of misc facts -- what's that thing and how does it work, how many gallons (sorry, pounds) of milk from a cow, how many seeds, I even look for a wall clock to see what the time is... you get up yesterday to start the day's work. From an old city guy, thank you and your family for feeding me and my family (fyi- per your request, I started watching "Farmer on the Prairie". I like that too.) With appreciation, Joe
You work so hard man it’s an inspiration. Just from I can deduce you probably have to wake up at 3:30 AM 5-6 days a week to milk and your not going back in for the night until at least 6. That’s not including harvesting and planting days where you’re literally working from 4 AM till 1 AM the next day. That’s not including the amount of time it takes to edit these videos. Great stuff as always
Great video, just like your first. Great to see your channel blow up. Thanks for not being a sell out! Everyone needs to see how hard a real farmer works!
Hey man great videos! This is true Americana, we need to support people like you because no matter how small or how big the communities you help feed, your the back bone to this country! God bless y’all
Hi Eric! Thanks for all the videos you do release for us to enjoy! I know it takes a lot of time and work and I do appreciate it. No Dew.... Bummer.... Stay safe and healthy!!
I'm pretty sure we all keep coming back and watching more because it's super satisfying seeing so much work getting done.... Meanwhile my dirty dish pile gets higher and higher....
I’m tremendously impressed by your work ethic and tenacity Eric. You guys really work when the work needs to be done, and that is a great habit. As an engineer myself, I am also extremely impressed by the science you employ in the methodology. And finally, I appreciate your faith.
I now have a whole new respect for farming and the amount of work that goes into it. I would like to see more of the machinery that empties the silos and what it looks like in the light. I think it's one of the more dangerous areas to work in. Love your vids!
Eric I am amazed at your work ethic and energy you put into any job. Your eye for efficiency is commendable as it will only add to the bottom line. You are very knowledgeable of all areas of operations. I know you learned by working closely with your dad; you two work really well together. I especially Iove watching the seasons of planting, harvesting and cycle repeating each year. God Bless you and your family. City lady from Texas.
I appreciate you posting such interesting videos! Thanks for sharing!! Done for the day at midnight then up by 4:00 to milk. Born again tough you Dairymen are!
new camera ? the quality and clarity are excellent...your videos should be required watching in urban schools so they get a real idea of the huge amount work involved in farming
Always enjoy your videos. You appear to have some nice equipment, but at the same time it appears to be practical equipment for the operation that you have. You basically stated in your video that your planter, for example, may not be the biggest and might not be the most technologically advanced, but it works for the operation that you have. I commend you for that. If it ain't broke, don't fix it! I'm sure that planter was great the day you bought it, and it still works great today! Makes total sense to me. Keep up the good work.
In a day and age when most adults.........those of us old folks like your dad and uncle and me....you are a breath of fresh air in terms of a working man. Got nothing but admiration for you and your family and I hope that your agg year is going smoother than the rest of the business community is in this coviod crap. You make me proud to be American because you represent the best of what we are......working for a better life and a future
Hello Eric, I am little dairy farmer in Brazil, 50 milking cows. yours machines and trators is so cool. You have nice land, so flat, here is almost montain. Nice video. Congrats, Farmers feed the world.
Thank you for the details about different aspects of your operation. The corn variety, and processes you are involved in are interesting to learn about. Farm on.
Just in awe of all your hard work. The knowledge and skill you display just knocks my socks off. One of the best ambassadors for farming being a knowledge based profession ever!
At 14:50 As a city boy I always thought silos were emptied from the bottom. Well you just taught be that I was wrong. You learn something new every day. Thanks Eric. Stay Safe when climbing inside those silos.
Eric, I want to really thank you for taking the time to explain, in detail, how the planter works and the details on the different corn. These are days when there are not enough hours in the day. The triticale yield was a great one, congratulations. Praying for some warm weather to get that corn pushing up. Thanks for the great video and time.
I have no clue about farming. I wasn’t even in FFA. But for some reason your videos are so intriguing. To know how much effort and time is put into this farm is down right impressive. God bless your family for many more years.
Honestly man you're videos on the farm are so relaxing I have been watching all the way back from a year or more! Im from the suburbs and when I drive by farm lands and wonder what's going on and I had no clue on how much work y'all do till I started to watch your videos. I am amazed. Its hard work and I want you to know we as America really do appreciate everything you do!
Watching from Cape Girardeau Missouri, I like your style I just discovered your channel. Glad you dont come on screen half hip hop , telling us to smash like buttons and not wearing a flat bill... subbed
Most people have no idea how much work is involved getting food to the table . I am a citrus farmer and I respect the hard work of my pickers and feed them lunch everyday .
Very interesting video. Good eye on understanding your planter, knowing something was wrong and finding the problem (missing bolt). A lot of good info on how your planter works and what your planting. I thought the silo footage was interesting too. Showing how the silo works by leveling out the feed, then lowering the top of the silo was really interesting. I'm so impressed with the work ethics of young farmers like you and Jan (SaskDutch Kid). Planting til mid-night, good job.
Just found your channel and awesome videos. I live on my wife’s small family farm just north of Pittsburgh. I never did anything on farm growing up but I absolutely love it. I work full time in construction and currently remodeling the barn for lambs and goats. It still has the original milking stations from early 1900s in it.
The disappointment of no Dew lol!😂😂😂 Good to see spring is going well for you! Love the explanations of everything. Even though I grew up on a dairy farm, I still learn from your videos 👍🏼
I watch you're program from far away in small island in the Arabian gulf called Bahrain and l like your hard work l Wash you good life and your family 👍
Nice video, I really like the tempo in your video. Any time some sequence could get boring, you skip forward to keep the viewer entertained. And now I know why you did not find any secret Dew in this video, there were none left ! ^^ Next time for the Dew hunt :-)
Love how you explained everything in this video. Very very good job I always get so excited when I see a notification from you. Keep on the amazing work on your farm and the videos are amazing
MountainDoo to ColaDoo, well they say a change is as good as a rest. Very eventful video. You have to be a good multitasker with a long day. Good vid. Peace.
So cool to see those boys working ! Great work values being taught!! I remember my uncles working the ranch/farm when they were young men and I knew that they started working at a very young age. Because they used to tell us stories about the goofs they made when they were young! But they learned well and by the time they were young teenagers they were very proficient with just about everything on the ranch!!
I like how you remind us to hit the like button I hit the like button before I even watch the video. I already know I gonna love it! Thanks for the hard work and late hours you do God Bless!
Some of those bolts come loose on my kinze planter too, and quite often. Checking them has become part of my regular maintenance. Nice catch on that one 👌
You guys were getting it done that day!!!!! Busyyyy, that was a cool shot of you planting and right next to you in next field they were harvesting!! A time to plant and a time to pluck up that which is planted!thanks for sharing your day Eric, ✅
Love watching your videos!! Reminds me of growing up on a farm. Especially the silage videos. We chopped corn with a stationary chopper flat belt and a farmall M.
Sad to be out of Dew :-( That should never happen. Another pleasant and informative videos, and all the better because you are putting in long hours and still managing to produce interesting video Thank you Eric!
So Cool. knowledgeable and Hard working young farmer. Thanks for sharing your experiences and your knowledge. Really enjoy your content keep it up. Greetings from INDIA
Yum, an ice-cold icy Coke! Just the thing to keep you going past midnight. Caffeine aside, man, you had to be tired but the good kind of tired that comes from a productive day of hard work.
Hard work, wish we never sold our farm, but years back was very hard times. Love the Blue tractor, I have a New Holland and love it. Thanks for great video's.
