A grreat musical composition by music director Sardar Malik of Kapurthala and equally good rendition by Lata Mangeshkar. The film did not do well, but the music was superb.

The picturization by Chitra, with her innocent face, beautiful nose and lips, commands respect. Sardar Malik has done a beautiful job in music direction. Lata needs no mention, as always.

I am so thankful to Alaknanda for posting this heart piercing song.I cannot stop crying after listening to this song on you tube after 40 years.My cousin and I used to listen to this song when we were young in 20's. Lata and Sardar Mallick were at their best has poured out their soul to capture our souls.Till this day and till I am alive, I will cherish this song.Thank you.
