I would say slightly better, but in terms of ease of use, and practical application the Rega MK4 gets the nod.

Complete overkill regardless. I own the Mojo 2 and it offers nothing in terms of sound quality improvement compared to my Zen DAC V2, with Tidal Masters or Spotify. I kept it to use as an external DAC with my amp, but realistically the Zen would be just as good for that too, in terms of sound quality, if it had more inputs. Personally I’d spend the money on something else.

If at work I presume you’re you’re using headphones, in which case I’d recommend just getting a $10 phone to 3.5mm adapter. The Mojo 2 really isn’t any better.

@@doifeellucky thanks for the feedback. I am needing something for work so I'll consider a Dongle, but I'd rather not use just a fondle for full size cans depending on their impedance.

No right or wrong answer here, but with apple having lossless, tidal, and Spotify coming soon it’s always best to future proof the setup.
