I like how the suit prevents us from taking radiation but where just poking small holes in it with needles.

Thanks to the devs for the review key, had the game in my Wishlist since the Chernobyl series came out, comrade Dyatlov would give it a 3.6 out of 5, not great not terrible (series reference, not representative score) :) The game released a day ago, has some nice Soviet environments, and I liked several of the animations. Movement is rough, NPC interactions are very bland, and gameplay gets repetitive, with performance issues still being patched.

I heard that this game is basically adventure in chernobyl being a Liquidators

Jeez, whoever employs our guy here doesn't give a SHIT about him. Every rad cleanup I've read about, they keep careful track of exposure and limit how many rads you can soak through your protective suit, then you need to take an extended break from the site. Also, you just stab the syringe in, huh? The needle's going to punch your dirty suit, dirty clothes underneath, and dirty skin into your veins. (There's a reason doctors swab the site with alcohol.) I'm sure nothing could possibly get into the hole(s) like radioactive dust to stick to your sweaty cancer- I mean skin. No I meant cancer. Yeah, I know realism isn't Job Number 1 here. I'm just needling the game, hehe. Good job uploader. PS: Wrote this before I saw the mask filter change animation. Did he just take his entire mask off? Well that's just special.

To change gas mask filter you take a deep breath and hold it, then you change the filter without removing the gas mask, be fast, then blow out the air so it will push out the "bad" air from ur mask then you start manuallybreathing

I feel like there’s just something vaguely off about the animations and the sound effects. The animation might just be the FOV being kinda strange but the sound like the coughing is just straight uncanny.

It's not a radiation survival game without vodka as a healing item. In stalker you literally could be dying of rad poisoning and all you have to do is chug a bottle of vodka and you're right as rain
