In the great musical 42nd street the director tells the cast to get ready for the show will be the "TOUGHEST FIVE WEEKS that you ever lived through!" Times have changed, I guess, over 50 years because at the end of this one day of brutal auditions they perform and incredible, complicated dance in perfect synchronization.
