Recipe
600g / 5 cups of Plain Flour or Bread Flour (at least 11g of protein)
250ml / 1 cup of Buttermilk or Regular milk
25g of Fresh yeast or 9g/3 tsp instant dry
4 medium eggs
60g / 1/4 cup of sugar
1 1/2 tsp of salt
Zest of half a lemon (optional)
100g / approx 1 stick of softened butter
Raspberry Jam for filling. Dipped in white sugar
Creme patisserie. Add about 3 tbsp of whipped cream to it after it’s done - • Creme Patisserie | Van...
Dipped in melted milk chocolate
These were fried at around 180-190C in sunflower oil for about a minute on each side
Note - This dough is quite rich so if you’re using instant dry yeast mix it thoroughly with the flour beforehand. If using active dry yeast activate it first with the lukewarm milk and sugar. Let it sit for about 10 minutes until it bubbles and foams

I’d love to know your back story. You are clearly a highly skilled. Baker who belongs on the Telly. Or. Be my neighbor so I could try. Your. Wares. I. Will be giving a lot of these recipes a go. The donuts intrigue me. So difficult. To get good donuts in the states. Anymore. All nasty chain stores. You wouldn’t want to leave Denmark for the States? I have a pal from dingle. Who runs and owns several very good. Restaurants etc
