sirennet.com/ri20x21.html Big Power in a Small Package - The Rigid Industries Dually LED Light is one of the most versatile lighting products on the market today. This 4 LED light can be used for virtually any lighting application - from off-road to agriculture. At only 20 watts, the Dually produces 1,568 raw lumens of light. Its compact size and shape allow the Dually LED Light to fit almost anywhere. The Dually is available individually or as a pair to suit your needs (select your preferred option from the drop-down menu above).
Hybrid Optics - Our patented Hybrid Optics System is the most powerful, most efficient LED optics system on the market. The Hybrid LED reflector out-projects comparable products by 20%. Our patented optics capture the maximum amount of light emitted from the LED and projects it exactly where you want it.
10º Spot Pattern - The Spot version of our Hybrid Optics System projects light over great distances in a concentrated beam. It's the most powerful spot-style LED light in the industry. This light is perfect for high speeds or any situation where you need extreme distance.
Quality Construction - Our circuitry is designed in-house to be more powerful, be more efficient, and generate less heat. Our durable cast aluminum housings feature custom, over-sized heat sinks which keep the temperature down and allow our LED's to run cooler and brighter. We give our housings a high quality powder-coat and finish them off with a custom-molded rubber seal and an unbreakable, scratch resistant lens. Rigid Industries LED lights are engineered to withstand whatever you, the road, or nature can throw at them.

Handy video, however you attached the mounting bracket for the light backwards. I suppose you could bolt the brackets in that way but the range of motion for the mount bracket as you have assembled it will be hindered by the cable running into the back of the unit.

I need a replacement Harness for my D-SS Pro Driving black Rigid lights. Are they all just one standard fit for the harness or do I need to order a specific harness for this model? Would appreciate the response. Thanks!

I was wondering if you could please provide instruction on how to connect the pendant swtich as the colors are different. Thank you!
@SIRENNET
@SIRENNET 7 лет назад
The pendant switch would connect as follows: Black to the ground wire, Red to the lead power wire and Green to the lead from the light(s).
@disaar3679
@disaar3679 7 лет назад
So in other words, black to black, green to red/black and red to red. Thats how it worked on my end. Thanks!

Im installing these on my 2010 Jeep JK. Where is the access point that I can run the harness through the firewall? I plan on having the switch mounted on the left side of the steering wheel.
@SIRENNET
@SIRENNET 10 лет назад
Unfortunately we do not have any information for you in regards to getting through the firewall. We wish we did more Jeeps, but Departments just do not see them for a Pursuit Vehicle :) We suggest calling up your local Jeep Dealer. They should be able to get you a schematic for the front end of your JK.

I wanna put mines on my grilly, so it would be near the battery and secured in the same Time. The things im looking for is how u link the control switch inside the driving cabin without exposing the wiring outside as i hav f-150 13, Secondly, i saw an accessory that let u control and tilt those units including their hinges as high or low as u wanted while your in the car, but donno where to find THIS accessory, any recommendations guys?
@SIRENNET
@SIRENNET 10 лет назад
For the On/Off switch to be mounted inside the F-150, you would need to run the wiring harness from the engine bay through the firewall. The firewall access point will be under the dash, up toward the left side if you pull the carpet/rubber flooring back. You should find/see a factory wiring harness routing up and through a black rubber grommet. In regards to a control module for remotely adjusting the lights, we have not seen anything available as an out of the box kit.

Can I put a 20 amp fuse in there that's all I have
@eddys.razorxp6445

My switch is staying lit when the lights are off it didnt use to do that I got back from woods other night and after washing bike the light switch was on and lights were off. I turned lights on and they lit up and the switch indicator got brighter. I turned them off and it stayed lit even though lights went out. I disconnected neg bat cable and habit messed with it since. I stay in woods for 3 days at a time way out in middle of florida swamps and cant afford for my bat to go dead. Do you have idea of whats going on. WATER. The wiring harness is the stock harness from rigid. No nicks or cuts i can see.

Sorry new to this type of stuff. I just ordered hood mount brackets. So with these pod lights its basically plug mount and play?
@cg9608

I think all Rigid cubes and bars come with a relay harness and switch. You just need to wire to the positive and negative of the battery, plug the 3 wires to the switch and ground the one. Obviously connect the cubes to the harness as well.

Hi, thanks for the vid! Question here, does it need a relay or just with the 15 amp fuse straight to battery?
@SIRENNET

Inline fuse & your good to go :)

Hi. I was wondering, how hard is it for someone to uninstall it from a car? If I park my car, is it easy for someone to unscrew it and take it?
@SIRENNET
@SIRENNET 10 лет назад
The Lights are a bolt-on style. With that, depending on where they are mounted and how easy the nuts & bolts are to access, someone with the proper tools could remove them. For extra security, we can offer you the below Security Kit from Rigid Industries: www.rigidindustries.com/installation-accessories/40281

yo, was wondering... can you ignore the switch it comes with? I already have fog light control inside the cab that i would like to use... and if not, Is there a d2 you can recommend that works with factory ford fog light control? plug and play style prefered
@SIRENNET
@SIRENNET 8 лет назад
You can use your existing Fog Light switch instead of the one provided. Unfortunately there is not a plug and play harness version available.

yo thanks for the reply... Anyway i did some serious research and what you do is order this: www.ebay.com/itm/2x-5202-H16-Wire-Harness-for-HID-Ballast-to-Stock-Sockets-for-HID-Conversion-Kit-/331286785136?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4d223b2c70&vxp=mtr and hack that up. Cheap part, nothing factory gets ruined. everyone wins further discussion (actually gets good on page2): www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/166366-anyone-have-rigid-fog-light-install-kit-and-duallyd2-lights/

if we are unstalling this on a jeep. Do we need a relay or can we connect it straight to the battery? thanks
@SIRENNET
@SIRENNET 8 лет назад
+25falcons You should be able to connect directly to the battery without a Relay if you are wanting to have the Lighting hard-wired. Just make sure to use the inline Fuse.

what do you mean use the fuse? I thogutht his kit already came with the fuse?

+SIRENNET What If I bought another set of Duallys but the floor lights this time, can I also connect those wires straight to the battery? Would it be an issue if I have two sets of posivitives and negatives directly connected to the battery? Thanks
@SIRENNET
@SIRENNET 8 лет назад
+25falcons It shouldn't be an issue. We have a lot of Clients that wire quite a few accessories to the Battery Terminals.

Ordered my set of Dually from Ebay. Impressed with the quality but I thought I would get the powder coated mounts as the video says. I got shiny aluminum looking ones. They are good quality, but they are bright and shiny. Not the black ones that I would like to have.

Cato Thomassen Rigid has gone away from those black brackets. All of their Dually's now come with the Chrome Brackets.
