I don’t like Anthrax after Neal got fired. I like some riffs. I can’t deny that they’ve had some great riffs. I always hated Joey’s voice. I had high hopes for John Bush. But he just wasn’t good. Now, if I crank up some Armored Saint. My opinion of John changes.

I saw them on the same tour and it was my first and last time seeing them. I was so excited to hear some classic material live and they only played two 80’s songs while everything else was 2000’s and after. I was so disappointed especially since the tickets were given to me as a bday gift.

Neither do I. I have other expenses I have to cover however furthermore I'm investing in my future such as a house which will be expensive so I don't have an endless amount of money to spend and neither do many people. Therefore I have to be selective with the stuff I do buy and I would rather buy something that I can listen to many times over that will last me for a lifetime than some cosmetic item that you only buy for cosmetic reasons. Also this notion that being a mindless consumer and spending the most amount of money on Metal equates to how big of a fan you are is absurd and false. South America is known to have some of the most die hard metal fans on the planet. Do you really think they have as much money (on average) as the metal fan in the U.S. or Europe? No. Also many of the old timers that are still into this music such as Ross Dolan, Don of the Dead, Cazz Grant, etc. had limited amount of money when they were getting into metal as they were kids and had limited amounts of money to spend. Point being is spending money on something doesn't automatically equate to being a fan and the people who try and promote mindless consumer spending as being the equivalent of fandom are either complete financial dumbasses or are too rich to even care. Neither one of these scenarios have anything to do with how big of a fan you are of something. At the end of the day we all have things in our lives to take care of but I always buy Records, go to shows, and buy merch whenever I can.

A few years ago they were going to do reissues of the first four albums with unreleased material including a different recording of the Once Upon the Cross album, but nothing ever came of it. That would have been cooler than reissues of In Torment in Hell and Insineratehymn.

That new single is kick ass. I look forward to the full album release. SFU is definately one of my favorite bands. We have the freedom to have opinions that differ from others, and like all sorts of different music.

@@ThyFleshConsumed the vocals on Undead and Unborn were great! Undead had some songs I thought were super heavy but idk didn’t really like the songs on Unborn. Not terrible or nothing like that just prefer the Steve Swanson/Allen West guitar style.
