This is one of the most interesting and informative discussions I’ve come across in years. Chris us by far one of the most outstanding bass trb players america has produced. Edwards trbs are again one of the worlds finest trombones comparable with any on the market.

Great discussion, thanks. Chris, could you give us a benchmark or two? What decibel level is a Mozart “f”? A Mahler “f”?

I am surprised when I hear that the loud issue still comes up at this level of playing. It is not like these players are high school kids.
