While I like that dd has a distinct style, it low key didn't really do much for me, it felt like a generic amalgamation of those influences rather then something distinct and cool With 2, the 2D 3D blend just adds enough novelty to the game's aesthetic that it looks neat
I liked the first game's style. It felt fitting for the aesthetic and locations. Big lines because of big shadows and all that. The second game adding 3D stuff and visual effects really brought it to another level though.
@@C4xR34 oh it fits what aimed for "grim dark + tasteful comic booky pop designs" It's just what it went for doesn't do much for me imo, it's not "bad" and I'd rather have 10 dd's over "fugly creepy looking, stiff moving hyper realistic game number 145222th"
